    i saw him on the boat on the way out, and he was there on the way back......but with blisters on his hands and a bad back? glad to hear Magners is OK in the kennels, or do you have him in the house? he might bring a bit of hybrid vigour to the pack.??     i think if they were doubled up too much they got familiar with the arse end, when they eventually got bit they had a shock and dropped it. good on you for giving her another chance.

    where did the colour come from THAT dog looks like goulds old smithy dog same shape of a dog. pictures i have seen Smithy was very strong, but fell type in looks, with a rough jacket too

    maybe it's me but the wheaton X's i see rarely have the height that a lot of the half cross bull greyhounds do? strong but not many 27' + dogs. Seen taller bull/grey x wheaton/grey and 3/4 bred wheaten grey but half cross seem shorter? ...discuss.

    I dont know if anyone remembers but there used to be a shooting-news columnist from Haverford-west or thereabouts,several times he wrote about a guy called Garrick Hulkes?Or Garrick Hawkes?Some named individual along those lines anyway,the guy was from the midlands,possibly leicester way,he had imported several of these dogs and used them for digging fox,anyone remember? Garrick Hawkes previously bred black terriers and is mentioned in the NS book (bred Grip, sire of Rags)

    Coco, really like the stamp of lurcher you keep. Nice to hear they have been doing the job for you over a number of years. Do you stick to daytime work or lamp them too?

    i can recommend the carharrt double fronted trousers or dungarees. they are not waterproof but they are tough as f@ck, and water resistant, so good enough.
