    They would argue that the dog was out of control. If a dog accidentally kills something then it isn't under your control is it. I completely agree accidents happen, but this would be one argument the prosecution would come up with. whats the maximum penalty for having a dog out of control?

    usually find they go within group of associates. i had a littter of 9 last yr and 8 were all sorted before they were born , i advertised one smooth dog pup, but a mate had him when he found out i had one left over.
