Grrr...badgers! Had a few night shoots ruined by them! There are loads around Northants and Leicestershire. Local farmer was moaning about them earlier today but he cant do anything about it. I like seeing them, but not all the bloody time!

Hi Moxy, Noted. Will do. In the meantime here is a forum friendly headshot of me getting my weekend started: Tim

I guess that could work. I never tried. Instead I prefer to sit in a fixed position and mark out my distances using sticks with some reflective tape during the day. Then at night, the sticks shine at 10yd intervals, so I know how far quarry is.

Great shooting and great write-up buddy. Especially in this weeks wind! Gotta be honest - I chickened out this week! lol Tim

Got both. Rarely use the 95 now. I'm good with a springer up to about 35yds, but with the HW on a good day I can take quarry up to . No contest. PCP every time for me.

Easy answer. Infrared light works at a different frequency to visible light, so as a result your optics focus points will be different for infrared. Tim

Police Call To My House After Shooting In My Garden.
TimS replied to pianoman's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Disappointing that your neighbour felt this way. Sadly ignorance and a perception influenced by a very unbalanced media tarnish all shooters as gangsters and terrorists. I have often found that engagement and kindness often have the opposite effect and actually build better relationships and trust. Even if he is an arxxhole, maybe one solution would be to invite him over to have a go! Worst case, at least he'll see you are a nice guy and have made every precaution for safety and abide by the law. Best case, he loves it, realises the error of his judgement and joins in the fun! Either way, -
Hi All, David, it is fairly straightforward to put on, but you need a clean stock. Doesnt adhere to silicon, so best on wood stocks. Once its on its watertight. I've had the MK4 out in rain and snow with no problems at all. No idea how easy it comes off as Ive not tried yet, but I'm sure a bit of heat and some elbow grease should be enough. The product is called Camo-It, but I think they have gone out of business as this was really hard to find. Shame. Great product. I think they fell out with Jack Pyke or something. Rez, the netting is better camo, but the side lever on the H

Here is my MK4 too...

Much better than this!

Hi All, I finally found someone with Camo-It in stock, so I done my HW100 to add it to my Camo'd MK4. Easy enough to do, just a bit of patience and a sharp knife. Made a bit of a dogs dinner of the cylinder, but I dont care as I have an A&M one on the way to replace this one which I will wrap when it gets here. What do you all think? Tim

Mister Gain has summed it up.

Hi All, Quiet day on the perm on Friday, but a lovely evening. Had a load of new sheep en-transit so they were pretty scatty and kept Baa'ing at me and following me about. Gave the game away big style. Shot a Rabbit and opened it up as bait for the Corvids, but the bloody sheep kept surrounding me, wondering what I was and got in my line of fire. Baaah. Below is what of what most of my evening looked like! Got bored so took a selfie and went for a mooch. End Tally: 3x Jackdaws, 1x Rook, 1x Pijin and a Rabbit. Tim

Love that Panther. Nice shooting. Tim

Welcome and good shooting. Advice? The black bit with the hole is the dangerous end. lol Seriously tho, Rats are tricky blighters. Bait them to a spot over a few days before you start shooting with mixture of Nutella, Peanut Butter and some Sunflower oil. Its runny so they have to stay and lick it up. After a few days, they'll be used to it and you can snipe them off. Have fun. Hate rats. Tim

Nice work and congrats on the new perm. Tim

Hi all, Just wondering, what happened to Camo-It, the company that made Camo vinyl wraps for guns? I have one on my Daystate MK4, which has been awesome, but now I want to do my HW100, they seem to have disappeared! Anyone know? Are there any similar alternative companies as I dont want to get it dipped. Thanks! Tim

Hi All, What a beautiful day! Far too hot to be out covered in camo, but I figured, what the heck. Better than getting rained on! Pack up the HW100 and SMS's the farmer. Called 101 and placed an Incident notice. Katie the Policewoman was lovely. I had visions of her in uniform! Got to the farm and the farmer was on site in the main, normally Corvid infested field fixing fences and driving his tractor about. Only crows were 100yds plus. Damn. Still, not to be disheartened, I camo'd up and took a peek behind one of the big containers in the farmyard. AHA! Mr Rook. 40yds with a n
