  1. Grrr...badgers! Had a few night shoots ruined by them! There are loads around Northants and Leicestershire. Local farmer was moaning about them earlier today but he cant do anything about it. I like seeing them, but not all the bloody time!
  2. Hi Moxy, Noted. Will do. In the meantime here is a forum friendly headshot of me getting my weekend started: Tim
  3. I guess that could work. I never tried. Instead I prefer to sit in a fixed position and mark out my distances using sticks with some reflective tape during the day. Then at night, the sticks shine at 10yd intervals, so I know how far quarry is.
  4. How did you guess!
  5. Great shooting and great write-up buddy. Especially in this weeks wind! Gotta be honest - I chickened out this week! lol Tim
  6. Got both. Rarely use the 95 now. I'm good with a springer up to about 35yds, but with the HW on a good day I can take quarry up to . No contest. PCP every time for me.
  7. Easy answer. Infrared light works at a different frequency to visible light, so as a result your optics focus points will be different for infrared. Tim
  8. Hey John. Let me know if you need a hand. I'm in Northampton. Tim
  9. I'm gutted. 103 views and no one has told me how good looking I am.
  10. Disappointing that your neighbour felt this way. Sadly ignorance and a perception influenced by a very unbalanced media tarnish all shooters as gangsters and terrorists. I have often found that engagement and kindness often have the opposite effect and actually build better relationships and trust. Even if he is an arxxhole, maybe one solution would be to invite him over to have a go! Worst case, at least he'll see you are a nice guy and have made every precaution for safety and abide by the law. Best case, he loves it, realises the error of his judgement and joins in the fun! Either way,
  11. Hi All, David, it is fairly straightforward to put on, but you need a clean stock. Doesnt adhere to silicon, so best on wood stocks. Once its on its watertight. I've had the MK4 out in rain and snow with no problems at all. No idea how easy it comes off as Ive not tried yet, but I'm sure a bit of heat and some elbow grease should be enough. The product is called Camo-It, but I think they have gone out of business as this was really hard to find. Shame. Great product. I think they fell out with Jack Pyke or something. Rez, the netting is better camo, but the side lever on the H
  12. Hi All, I finally found someone with Camo-It in stock, so I done my HW100 to add it to my Camo'd MK4. Easy enough to do, just a bit of patience and a sharp knife. Made a bit of a dogs dinner of the cylinder, but I dont care as I have an A&M one on the way to replace this one which I will wrap when it gets here. What do you all think? Tim
