try not to make eye contact with him when your calling him , my whippet pup 5 months old now was doing same thing last month now hes almost fine . its hard to explain completely what i mean about no eye contact but i use it on horses also works a treat , also i put him outside with the other dogs and ignored him for a few days i then started the no eye contact and walkin off clicking my fingers with plenty of praise when he comes in, i,m not saying the no eye contact thing is gonna work but it worked with me or it was pure luck , 1st for me trying it on a dog think about it when they are c

the fancy collars that the thread started off about look good , ok for show offs who show off and dont hunt but wont last long , i think the strong stuff collars are simple but made to last , tbh i make my own collars , buy scraps from the local saddle maker , hand stitch them and as for the nice designs on the leather its done with a stamp i have a tin full of different stamps , if the rivets break they will stay together as they are stitched good and vice versa with the stitching breaking , although ive never had stitch or rivets break ... i,m not trying to bum myself up , the point i,m tr
