  1. HW97K mate, they are unbelievably loose.
  2. There you go mate, doesn't look to pretty but it does the job, although probably nowhere near as good as the netting above.
  3. Seems a bit unfair, Mawders has been practicing
  4. I wasn't having a dig at PCP's by the way, like you say they definitely have their place
  5. Just bought some of these and they practically fall through the barrel. I shot probably 5 pellets maximum and got a groupings resembling a shotgun. Anyone fancy swapping/buying them, £5 inc postage. Edit: Should probably have put them in the for sale/swap section, sorry.
  6. I'll post a photo up for you later mate.
  7. It's not getting off topic mate, I was just stating that springers can be as accurate and I find them a lot more rewarding to shoot. Whatever floats your boat.
  8. I have since shot 1 inch spinning targets at 30 and 40 yards and hit them 99% of the time over two hours of shooting. I will have to make a video or something.
  9. Well as you know I'm pretty new to air rifles, I've only been shooting a month or so, therefore not very biased. I have used both, personally I think shooting accurately with a PCP is too easy, so much so its almost boring (no challenge). A springer can be shot as accurately but it takes far more skill and is therefore much more rewarding. I shot this 8 shot group in an unsupported seated position at 15 yards with my HW97K last week when zeroing my new scope (there was a target in front of it). If I can do that with a springer being a noob, anyone can! Edit: The coin is a
  10. PCP is dead boring to shoot though, I think my 3 year old could shoot one accurately. Edit: 2 year old, I'm a year ahead.
  11. I would recommend an HW97K, mainly because I have one and its damn good.
  12. I bought some Jack Pyke stealth tape for my HW97. It does the job well and only sticks to its self so leaves no stickiness on your rifle.
  13. I forgot to mention that its had all the seals replaced with better quality ones, and it doesn't come with the bi pod. Thanks.
  14. SMK XS78, 3 months old, crono'ed at 11.5 ft lbs using JSB Exacts. Comes with silencer and Swiss Arms 4x40 scope. Would like £100, thanks.
  15. I've just ordered some of these pellets to give them a try as they are a lot cheaper than the JSB Exacts I've been using. They aren't listed on the Chairgun pellet database so I was wondering if anyone knows the ballistic co efficient value for these pellets? Thanks.
  16. Bloody hell, that's not acceptable, I would be expecting it to be done for free after that long! It makes SFS waiting time look much more appealing.
  17. Excellent vid Si and brilliant shooting. I will definitely be getting Tony to work on my rifle after seeing that. Were you shooting unsupported in the clip?
  18. Thanks for the reply Si. I thought it might be something to do with your video, thats what got me thinking about sending mine there. I look forward to watching the SFS HW97KT in action.
  19. Thanks mate, I was wondering about getting the trigger adjusted too so that seals the deal.
  20. Thanks Davy, looks like I will be without a rifle for a good few weeks
  21. Hi Davy, thanks for the reply. The V Mach tuning kit is £73.95 and from what I've read its supposed to be pretty good. The SFS Stage 1 tune is the same price and also supposed to be excellent, just the waiting time putting me off. Anyone used both?
  22. It was actually his video of SFS that got me thinking about getting it tuned , if only the waiting times were less.
