  1. I will also PX for a Pro Sport in .177
  2. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/250869-hw97k-22/
  3. More photos here for anyone that's interested; http://www.freeads.co.uk/uk/buy__sell/leisure__hobbies/hunting__sporting_equipment/air_guns/16322241/weihrauch-hw97k-22/view#.T9pEIrXy-5I I haven't been on here for long but I've already sold a rifle to Blue Pocket Rocket via bank transfer/Royal Mail, I'm sure he will let you know I'm genuine if you ask.
  4. PCP's are boring as hell. My brother had an S400 for a while, very nice rifle but it was almost like you were cheating, it was so easy to shoot. I'm pretty convinced that a decent springer is all you need, and they are much more satisfying to shoot.
  5. Thats bloody cheap, I would definitely buy it if I were you.
  6. It came from abroad mate, it took a while to get here.
  7. HW97k for sale in the for sale section if you are interested.
  8. For sale is my HW97K in .22 cal. The rifle is in very good condition and is running at 11 ft lbs with JSB Exacts. Its very accurate and comes with a Hawke Airmax 3-9x40 IR scope (not the Nite Eye fitted) and 1 piece mounts. £300
  9. Its called Maccari heavy tar Stan, not cheap but bloody good.
  10. Sorry mate, only had one tin.
  11. That was hit hard with the ugly stick.
  12. I'm thinking about selling mine and buying the thumb hole version, hmmmmm.
  13. You will have to re-zero for different types of pellet because of the different ballistic co-efficientcy like you said. I recommend stripping it down, polishing the ends of the spring, and lubricating it with some nice sticky grease (not too much though). A lot of people seem to use CV joint grease but the stuff used in my gun was almost tar like. You will be surprised how much difference it makes. Taking a HW97 apart is easier than I thought, there are plenty of how to's on the web, also no need for a spring compressor, and its a handy thing to know.
  14. How does your 97 shoot Skot? Any spring twang? Hows the recoil? We stripped mine down the other day, did some polishing, put some tar like grease on the spring (I will find out what type if you like) and its been totally transformed. Its a hell of a lot quieter, hardly any recoil, and no twang from the spring. It was already pretty good, now its excellent.
  15. That scope ^ is bloody brilliant for the money, very bright and crystal clear.
  16. Chill mate I was joking. I only said it because I have one.
  17. I'm not sure about the Mamba lite but my brother had a Viper x10 and it was shocking in low light, all you could see is white for some reason.
  18. Right quick update. I didn't send my rifle off because I have been busy shooting it, but, last night it was stripped down, cleaned, polished, and had some mega thick tar like grease applied to the spring. All in all took the best part of an hour and about 50p worth of grease. It has totally transformed the rifle. The recoil has been dramatically reduced and now only goes horizontally into your shoulder, there is no twang from the spring, and its a lot quieter. I'm not knocking SFS, but TBH I really don't see the need to get it tuned now, it really is that good.
  19. I know they're a "tool" but I like the look of wooden stocks, I don't think I could bring myself to paint it TBH.
  20. Anyone have any experience of these? I'm thinking about getting one as I'm using a .22 and pretty useless at guestimating ranges.
  21. Hi mate, they are definitely 5.52's, I really can't see why they would be so loose
  22. They do 5.51 and 5.52, I bought the 5.52 because they were the same size as the JSB Exacts which fitted nicely. Dodgy batch perhaps?
