  1. tikka 243 mate both mine and ian's both using 58 grains bullets
  2. its really light dixyhmr i think my 12 will be getting left in the cabinet for a long while now as the 410 does what i want for mooching about with the terrier
  3. i think id need a cannon to hit them snipe next time i think that gully will produce alot of birds i you put feeders in speak soom mate

Well i decided to have a quick look out today with millet and his bird and me with the 410, we first tried for a pheasant for his bird which had about 4 good flights and managed to get one then off for a walk with me new 410 see what i could do managed to get some birds up for me but only managed to get the 2 but i still enjoyed using this little gun and had a good couple hours out here's a couple of pics

  10. please dont think im out to offend you ian far from it.............................meopta scopes round hear has a terrible reputation.a good friend runs a firm called minsterley ranges on the welsh borders and they always try to push people into s&b scopes because the meopta's fall to bits all the time.i have used one that i borrowed off fubar off thl and thought it was a decent bit of kit on my hmr.......what are they like at extended ranges on a centre fire...   13. Not bad did you see many hare's,had a nip out with ian friday shot a nice big dog fox they'll be no more missing now

Me and ian b had a look round one of his spots last night for a couple of hours looking for charlie as the farmers mentioned he's seing to many, ian had one the night before of this farm but we still had a go and managed to get a big dog fox, i took him about 120 yards or so cheers ian you messer he's probly the biggest fox ive had this year what a size ian he must of been feeding up on them scoin's

  16. At least you got one mark, its been a while since you used the rifle did you struggle finding where to put the bullets
  17. Good choice we'll have to have night's lamping some time mate,the first fox was a good size

Well after finishing work today i rang peg and gun to see if we were on for lamping tonight for an hour or so, after a little drive around we went to a spot where he's lost alot of snared rabbits, straight away mr fox stud about 100 yards away down he went looked round and seen another but he never hung about, managed another further along laid on a bail about 130 yards number 2 in the bag then looked around again and he's another in the next field which didn't hang around thats about 15 foxs of this area and they still coming back in numbers here's a couple of pics of the phone,cheers peg

Here's a couple of picture's of a days bag, first i shot some birds on one of my permissions over stubble then on the way home i noticed one of ian b's fields getting some stick so i gave him a ring and asked if i could drop on it for an hour or so and managed a nice little bag,all in all i shot 58 birds
