Had my old dog chipped during the week, the local council in conjuction with the Dogs Trust did a two day advent were they chipped dogs for free. Dog theft is on the rise so I would encourge anyone to take advantage of these local schemes. I ferret mainly orchards and the last thing you want is most of your poles and net dropping onto the freshly pruned branchs all over the floor...................Will have to modify it in the summertime.

I ferret roadside hedgerows and like Lifelong cumbrian says a lighter more easily seen ferret is preferred.........................

I made the mistake of buying a bridport nets basket, the poles fall out when you bend down and the basket net is too large.............................rubbish.

They say India but I can't see it really. But then we all come from africa at the start. But there's been romanys a lot longer than Irish that's a fact. india originaly it has been proven , where do you think the dark scin comes from.. The young gypsy girls around here are normally orange............................................

Had 4 of mine nicked late october plus a load of ferreting gear, unless you catch them red handed with the stuff you've got a slim chance of recovering the goods. But I have a couple of names that I am looking into.........................I am more interested in finding who the parasites are and have offered a £200 reward for a name, but nothing as yet................

If the ferrets are not porkers then I think its operator error, Make more holes in the collar and get it tight enough that you can still turn the collar when its on the ferret without breaking its neck......................regards Pat.
