    Had a night out with my home brew night vision last night, the conditions were pretty good with a nice breeze. Shot 38 rabbits in total.

    I threw two boxes away the other day because I couldn't get anything else in my freezers, I get them from a local meat supplier for free (Lamb carcasses)..............look in your local yellow pages

    its mostly bone so too much will bind the dogs up......................I give mine tripe, beef, mince chicken (which is chicken carcass basically) and a rabbit lamb and chicken mix which I mince myself with a scoop of cheap complete food as a filler. .............

    Made the hairs on my neck stand up reading this thread..........................I remember I had to pay the vet my rent money once for an emergency op on my old English bull terrier but to me they are members of your family and you should do the very best you can for them and you have. well done .............. nice looking animal by the way.

    He's still a very determined dog Tomo ............ old age is creeping up on him but he still give's 110%, I like animals that earn their keep and he does just that............not prefect by any means but he's a good catch dog.

    The problem with a straight beddy for cover is that they may push rabbits out but they wont catch many, and a whippets paper thin skin aint no good for cover, so in my way of thinking a 3/4 Whippet 1/4 Beddy give you the best of both in one neat little package. Pot filling rabbit dogs nothing more nothing less...............tough as teflon and non stick too.

    Redfield Revolution 3-9x40 4-plex reticle in very good condition, very little use. I used this on my anschutz 1417 for lamping and it just sucks in the light. Made by Leupold the optics on these scopes is fantastic for the money. £130 + £5 P&P or pick up in North Kent. Will throw in a set of mounts for full asking price.

    I mix whole rabbit with chicken and lamb trim from the butchers, when rough mince and freeze...................................

    the local farm shop sells unbranded for £18 and is 15 kgs..............

    Local farm shop does unbranded dry ferret food for £18 a sack which normally lasts me most of the summer, feed them raw food late evenings and take out whats left in the morning and not too much....................
