  4. IT WILL BE FINE BUT I FOUND AS THEY GOT OLDER THEY JUST SEEM TO BE RELUCTANT ON DOING CERTIN THING WHERE AS A PUP FROM 8 WEEKS WHEN YOU ASK SOMETHING FROM IT ITS A SHARP RESPONSE ATVB WITH YA PUP
  5. If the pup had been intensely socialised it might not matter if you took it at 15 weeks old, but by 'intensely socialised' I would be wanting that pup to have travelled regularly in a vehicle, and been out and about to take in new sights and sounds, met different people and dogs: how many breeders would go to all that trouble? Not many. Many people who breed lurchers don't even let them out of the yard or run, and don't understand how important it is to use that 'early learning' window to accustom the pup to the outside world before that 'learning window' closes, forever in the case of pups of

  7. i know what im writing is exzactly what you are asking but this is what i do with a young pup and if your young pup doesnt come in keep walking away if you still cant get her in just sit down and wait dont pay no attention and she will come mate and i wouldnt be taking the pup out lamping to watch at that age maybe at 8 months but 5 months is too young imo this is what i do with my put she has just gone 3 nhalf months... i started to walk her some where quiet for ten minutes off the lead doing recall then put her on the lead and goto a place that is not wide enough for a young teenager
  8. i would take a ten week old at the oldest but wouldnt touch a 15 WEEK OLD PUP IMO
  9. cause i have had one and spent alot of time with it and the bond you get with a pup at 8 weeks there all you know at 15 weeks they have grown to bond to other people it is just my own personal thought like i said its just me as the expearence i had i had the pup well train but there were certin things i could see that i had never had with a 8week old pup like when you call them some times they just to be a bit reluctant to come like when you had the pup from 8 weeks i wouldnt by a dog over the age of 10 weeks max but that imo cheers
