  1. Had my HW 95 customised there, cracking job and cracking fella
  2. You could try trail cameras, since NV has come along I'm sure a few of my permissions are having visitors. I've found random dead rabbits which haven't been picked up..
  3. I've started using cushion covers from IKEA, they are bright, zipped and only £2... Regards
  4. I ended up buying one off this site, cracking price and excellent quality.. Highly recomended Regards
  5. Lee classic single stage press, not the cheaper one included in the package starter kits. £ posted.. Regards
  6. I've a lee classic press, scales, a few different powders and loads of bits n bobs I never use I need to sell. Where abouts are you ? I can email photos if your interested.. All hardly used as didn't takento reloading as I'm far to lazy and don't shoot enough to warrant do it.. Regards
  7. It does seem expensive to me, just seems a shame the jill jab is not available on line. I couldn't neutre myself but could happily give a jill jab ?, Regards
  8. I've got a castrated hob, he's huge, slow and you'd never belive it but he pushes rabbits out amazingly well.. Don't think they have a choice ?... However I'm sure it's a vasactomised one you need as castrated hobs don't work at taking Jills out of season..
  9. I've bolted a fox out of a rabbit warren with my ferret.. Don't know who was more shocked, the ferret, the fox or me..
  10. As above, has anyone else had a quote for this procedure... I've got two Jill's, there's no way I'm paying that much ?... Regards
  11. Joe1888 I've had a look on the web site and there are no prices or contact details, unless it's just my iPhone that doesn't work on the site... Have you any ideas re price.. The suggestion made by Terryd doesn't have a bow back which I would prefer.. The other ones on EBay look ok, but nothing stands out... Regards
  12. I have just received some new nets of NETRIGGER, excellent product and delivered the next day... Highly recomended Regards
  13. As above really, I went out with a pal today and picked his double d&d ferret box up and it weighed less than half my home made box.. D&d seem to have stopped making boxes.. Where else sells good lighter boxes.. Cheers
  14. I got one off E bay, they are £38 new.. The leather is a little thicker than my original but works fine... If you can't find it I will go on flea bay tonight and look who the seller was.. Regards Oli
  15. They are fantastic, mines on 24/7 without a problem.. I bought a clearview 500, though expensive to start with the heatings hardly on anymore.. I would not bother unless you can get cheap or free wood, though a ton bag costs £50 up this neck of the woods and lasts a while.. I have carpet with a rug infront just incase a log falls out etc when I open the door, though it hasn't ever before it's better safe than sorry
  16. Jammy sod, wish the farmers round here had that problem..

    In Two Minds

Unless you 100% sure don't entertain the idea, I've been into falconry for two years now.. It takes up all your time, I love it, however it's a huge commitment...
  18. I'm not compairing the two, I'm licenced with an open ticket.. However in my opinion your waisting your time no UK government is going to relax any control on guns, especially is the current climate.. Good luck !!! You will certainly need it
  19. You honestly think they will consider it even with 10 million signatures with what's happened in France !
  20. Your nor wrong, they are useless, I've finally untangled them in the kitchen. The thicker one took seconds, I assume it's hemp as is a lot heavier now it's wet
  21. I've had enough, what's the solution... I've been out rabbiting today and spent more time untangling nets than anything else, I'm using nylon thin netted ones of flea bay.. I have one orange one ( found on my ground where I have sole permission ?) which is thicker and never knots.. What nets do you use that knot less ?? Regards
  22. Could someone advise how do you attach the bands to the wood and pouch, I have some leather to make one.. Just not sure how to secure them.. Regards
  23. Cheers gents, I will get some nuts.. I've read a few posts and a large bag from wilkos seem favourite unless there's a better suggestion out there. Lastly were do I start ugpgrading to a better more pocketable catapult. Are there ready made ones on flea bay, if so could you suggest a good one if possible... Cheers
  24. I've got a black widow catapult, I assume I just need some hex nuts and I'm away or are there cheap alternatives which would be better than the black widow.. Any help welcome !!
  25. I'd second that, plus anything by Martin Hollinshead are good reads...
