  1. Dude, exactly the same here. If i'm at my permission more than 30 minutes more than i'm supposed to be, i'm in trouble when i get home! What makes it worse for me is me and the family are in the process of moving, so every penny has to be saved for the new house. She talked me in to selling my beloved HW100 with i sold this weekend. I only gave in because i've got a couple of springers that i love using anyway, and the fact that i know i will have another HW100 again at some point in the distant . Only plus side to it was i got to meet Arn and Milegajo of this website, and they what a pair of
  2. Hey Miles, A pleasure to meet you guy's too. Bob will have a lifetimes shooting out of that 100. Best gun ever, and I will own one again (when I can sneek it past the missus) All the best guy's.
  3. Heads up guys Just been reading a few posts on the bbs. Looks like the Grahams (or who ever they are) are scamming people again. Possibly using Cornwall addresses. All the Best
  4. Hey Elliot, I also have a spare set. I bought them in error when I got my sidewinder. If Davy can't let you have his, p.m me your address and I'll pop then in the post. No charge. All the best
  5. Hi Arn, all sounds good to me. I have a bit going on,on saturday so will call you (could you PM your Mob no.) regarding a time. The hw was bought at Coley's at Birdlip. It's a brilliant shop. Cheers.

  7. I too would have to say Uttings. There delivery serivce is superb and prices are great. My local shop is Allsports of Gloucester, and you will never meet such a rude, miserable and patronising old bloke than the one that runs that place. Went in with a friend of mine last November. We're both dressed smartley (my friend is a company director who i work for) and ask to see the air rifles and scopes that are kept in a small gated area. The guy then continues to follow us around in the area like we are a pair of naughty school kids in a sweet shop. My friend went to pick up a prosport and the
  8. Hey Boss I have been doing a lot of research and tinkering recently regarding buttoning and trigger adjustment. I think there are a few factors to think of when answering this question. 1. Will the money spent be worth it? If you have access to a lathe and a few assorted machine shop tools, buttoning should be reasonably achievable if you do the right research and are willing to put up with a lot of trial and error. it shouldn't be expensive either. 2. How old is the hw97 If the rifle is years old, the internals may be showing some signs of wear, and if bought second hand
  9. Hey Webster You need to check out this guy. http://www.airguntech.com/. This guy post's a lot on the airgun bbs and it seems there's not much he doesn't know. The main difference between the and the 97 (other than the breakbarrel/underlever) is that the HW80 was designed for export power levels. To do this they gave it a 30mm piston as apposed to the 97's 26mm piston. That will give it very different firing characteristics. To get a firing cycle near to that of a well sorted 97, I would imagine you would need to have your 80's cylinder sleeved to allow it to run with 26mm piston.
  10. do you think the77 is superior to the 97?? or is there nothing in it?? only asking as i am sorely tempted to flog the 410 and fancy a tuned 77 or 97 as the replacement. my sordid fling with pcp s has ran its course. The only real difference between the 77 and the 97 is that the early 77's have a 25mm piston (They are now 26mm piston) where I believe most (certainly the later 97's) have a 26mm piston and the integrated silencer. Lots of 97 owner's source the earlier 77 25mm pistons and comp tubes and retro fit them in the 97's as it is a drop in replacement and it gives it a reportedly sweet
  11. Ace video Si, that was the one I was waiting for. ATB Darkdd81
  12. Found there the best in my hw100t too.
  13. Good shooting guy's. Out of interest, what pellets we're you using?
  14. Hey Mawders Who's fettling your Prosport (SFS i presume?) and what i you having done? ATB
  15. Looks like a lefty to me also. The loading port is on the left side, not the right (like my right hand tx200) and the check piece looks like it is facing the left.
  16. Agreed with everyone above. A friend of mine had one in a Taunus stock with an ultra short barrel in .22. Really was a beautiful rifle. ATB
  17. hey guys, This is a very interesting thread written by a guy on the airgun forum regarding the prosport/tx internals. I have done alot of these mods to my hc, and i can say there is quite a difference. It just shows that as good as these rifles are, they are mass produced at the end of the day, and like most things, will benefit with some slight modifications and tinkering if you know what your doing. all the best. www.airgunforum.co.uk/forums/showthread.php/98960-AA-Pro-Sport-Bluprint-Tune-Project-smoooooooooth
  18. hey Miles, mine is Mk2 HC with the bull barrel, bought around 12 years ago. ATB
  19. As the other guys have already said, excellent post and great bag. All the best
  20. Hey Pianoman It's definatly him. I also checked out his linked in profile and it said long before the wow.com business he was md for simmons optics in the 90's. I've also got an old copy of airgunner with the old simmons advert with a picture of him and I think fred carter saying they use the latest simmoms wtc scope on there rapid 7 with crosman premiers etc..... If you see the advert you'll see the likeness. I also read he was on chanel 4's secret millionaire program giving a fortune away to good causes, so it would appear that he's a pretty decent bloke.! All the best.
  21. Also see this. http://www.wowstuff.co.uk/ Looks a bit different in a suit rather than DPMs.
  22. A little while ago, i wandered the same thing and had a digg around on the net and found this: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/yourbusiness/national-business-awards/7954168/National-Business-Awards-finalists-announced.html To cut a long story short, it seems he's become a very successfull entrepreneur. Fair paly to him!! ATB
  23. Fair play buster, shooting mice at that range, you must be a very talented fellow.
