Pellets Producing Different Ftpds Results
darkdd81 replied to PJWmids's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Best thing to do bud is de-tune it to get the power down to mid 11's with the superdomes, and then just stick to the crossmans. If there pushing 10 that's will do just fine. -

Hey all i'm having a bit of a clear out and i found a box of Crosman Premier .177 10.5 grain pellets. I dont have a .177 any more so these are surplus to requirements. These were the old ones sold in a small cardboard box. Theres around 350 left in there. If anyone wants them, pm me your address and i'll post them no charge. All the best lads.

Had a go tonight at 35 yards, big eye opener. Weather was calm so all should have been plane sailing but groups started out going everywhere. After 40 odd shots things started to tighten up. My best was a 5 shout group around the the size of a 10 pence piece, but I have done better before with this rifle. May have been an off day, I don't know. I found I would get 3 out of five on top of each other and I would be thinking I was on for a great group, then the next two would be either low, high or to the right. Gives me a new appreciation for you guys who post on here getting pellet on

Hey Guys In the next few days (when the wind dies down/or if i can get into my indoor range), i intend on doing some more longe range practice with my TX200hc out to 50yards. As i have sold my pcp, i am really keen on improving my skills with my springers. As soon as this is done, i will post the results on this thread. Any of you guys want to share some of your results out to 50 yards? (Springers only for this one) I know there is a lot of good shots using this forum (Pianoman,Zini etc....) So how about we we post them on this thread. Does'nt matter what calibre, indoor or outdoor

darkdd81 replied to Hughie's topic in Airgun Hunting
Hey buddy, Congratulations on the permission. First thing I would do in your shoes is get on to amazon and order a copy of 'the hunter' by John Darling. The auther is sadly long since deceased, but this book will have serve you well. All the best -
Thanks for the info. I need to start taking out my slr for photos more rather than my crappy blackberry. Atb

Too true buddy. My springers will keep me happy, but i will have another 100 in the future, for me it's the best pcp i've ever used. Should be having my 95 v-glided in a few months. We'll have to get together and have a shoot and compare the v-glide against an SFS stage 2 97!!! All the best.

Well said Skot. Last year, I had my personal best long range shot with a rabbit at a lased 69 yards. Like yours, or was a miss or kill situation. It was a perfectly calm summers afternoon with a very slight left to right breeze. I was lying prone with my hw100 on the bipod and the rabbit was in an undulation in the ground so all I could see was his ears and the back of his head. I'd already been practicing out to 70 yards so I know all my milldots. With 4 mill dots holdover and a touch of windage adjustment and the pellet connected just behind the eye and the rabbit rolled over stone dead. You

Hey Skot I did my tx last year, and if you do decide to go the permanent route, this is what I did. Get this paint form Halfords http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/SearchCmd?srch=camo+paint&action=search&storeId=10001&catalogId=10151&langId=-1 Get kaki, brown and olive green, and some primer plus meths or cleaner of some sort and some masking tape. Next, remove action from stock and scope/mounts from action and give a good clean using the meths and get all grease and oil of the surface. Then very carefully mask all areas that you don't want p

Question For Air Arms Tx200Hc Owners.
darkdd81 replied to A1WOC's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Hey, I tested mine a few years back with the hunters alongside the roundheads and the roundheads were slightly better. Also used webley accpells and there very good also for mine. I'm on a tin of aa fields 5.51 and ok, need to do some more testing while my piston extension and new seal beds in.
