  1. Hey Been a while since i've posted on here, but with spring in full swing and all the signs of life in the fields getting back to normal after all the flooding we had this year, i'm itching to get out again. One of my main permissions has got Rape seed growing at the moment and its that 3 1/2 tall just starting to go yellow stage. It's been getting hammered by pigeons big time. As the field is bordered by good sitty trees on most sides there is ample oppurtunity to set up good hides and snipe into the tree tops. The question is, have any of you guys used lofted decoys in t
  2. See if you can get sample packs of the exacts in those three head sizes and see which one your beast prefers. I had a HW100T and Daystate li's, Crosman heavies, JSB exacts were all very good, AA field in 4.52 were exceptional. Were talking 4 shots inside a ten pence piece at 70 yards, (took a rabbit with a perfect clean headshot at 69yards that same day on a golf course permission off the bi pod with no wind). After trying the AA's, i never tried anything else. ATB.
  3. meant 'one week'. Really should spell check my posts before i hit the post button.
  4. This is a cracking project for some one here! I'm dropping the price to £135 now for on week! if it's not gone by next thursday im keeping the f****r, would rather use it as a door stop than give it away any cheaper!

  9. hi all Got my 2003 (I think) .22 caliber TX200HC for sale. Stock is beach and has a raised cheek piece and an adjustable butt pad and along with the rest of the action has been camo painted. Shoots a little bit twangy but probably needs a stripdown/relube. I have a many memerable shots out hunting with this rifle and will be very sad to see it go. Would make a great winter project for someone to bring it back to its former glory, or just as an out and out hunting rifle. £215 ono mob 07557805630 email deri@leeways.co.uk
  10. Scrap that , just had another look at your picture. Dooh!
  11. Hey Skot, Could you not try shiming the mounts a touch?
  12. Hey Woodcote. If the above sarky replies were no help, i believe that the Vortex Scopes have got a very good reputation in the states as i believe that that is where they are produced. If you never use more than 6x mag, then the Vortex Diamondback 2-7x35 Rimfire that you quoted sounds about ideal. Heres a forum thread with a few comments about it. http://www.predatormastersforums.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2219505 Hope this helps.
  13. Hope he comes back. Have been looking forward to the next episode of vhtv. All the best if the are reading this Si
  14. Hey Donny. Do you still have the Camo Dipped one? I'm after one for my HW95.
  15. Cheers Daz, looks like I don't have to do a review any more! I'll echo what Daz says, zips need taping. Size is perfect for day shooting. I'd say it's to small for lamping or Decoying. Seems well made, loads of pockets for all your knife, torch, pellets etc.....Sells in different colours and the postage is free!. I've already got 2 more on order, one for fishing, and another in darker camo for autumn. Happy Days. ATB
  16. I was offered a mint HW95k with AGS scope today thorugh a friend for 150 quid. Unfortunalty for me it was a .22 which I already have, but it shows the bargins are out there.
  17. To the original poster, If i were you mate, i would save 10-20 quid a week, stick it all in a pot and wait untill you have enough for a secondhand HW,AA or maybe a Diana. You'll get a rifle that if looked after, will last a life time, and if you chose to sell it, at least you will get a healthy return back. ATB
  18. Welcome bud. I've used a TX200HC for the last 12 odd years. Cracking piece of kit. Infact when i had my HW100 PCP, i would reach for my TX first most of the time. ATB
  19. Will be handy for decoying, or lamping if you're on your own and need to carry your rabbits a long way. Hey, at £14 if it's no good, it does'nt really matter.
