  3. Hello there, as the title states my9 week old terrier pup has just come out with a bald patch under her chin and around her neck and chest. ive just came home from work and noticed this. Any suggestions as to what it could be? her skin doesn't seem red and irritated or anything like that, it just appears to have come away. I will upload a picture tomorrow if that's any help.
  4. My dog pup 'Floyd', only 4 months now so I might get him maybe one or two under he's belt at the end if the coming season. Also got a bitch pup coming at the weekend but she won't be ready until the season after next.

  7. Just wondering if any of you lot of had any problems with ticks so far this year? I have a pup staying with a friend just until I get my yard sorted, and in the past 2/3 weeks we must of found 15 ticks in total. I find it rather strange as we haven't found a single one on the other dogs. the bedding is changed regular and the kennel and dog have been treated, as have all the other dogs. Any advice on some good treatment would be appreciated. Cheers Chris.

  11. Just to get used to the 'darkness' so to speak, let it get a feel for what its going to be doing. doing this will give the pup a bit of experience and confidence, also there will be old scent in empty earths so it will get used to this.
  12. If the dogs bred right then that's a start, you then have to have a steady and patient head on your shoulders. take the dog out whilst digging and tie it up away from the earth, do this from around 7/8 months. this will let the dog get the scents and hear what's going on under the ground. when the dog gets to around 12/13 (maybe younger or maybe older depending on the dogs maturity, I personally wait until at least 13 months) months let it run empty earths. When the dog is around 15/16 months let it enter an occupied shallow earth (with a locator collar on) and then its down to the dog as you
