  1. I've just moved into a bigger house and the garden is perfect for my new set up. I started on Saturday and dug the square out where the kennel block is going. I'll be concreting the floor on Saturday and then building block runs with galvanised gates. I never contemplated a tiled floor but now I'm thinking of it after seeing this post. @dillydog what is this resin stuff like? I might also look into that as well
  2. That's a cracking stamp of a dog you have zilverhaze, really like him.

  8. I always prefer to dig with a friend as you can both help each other out and also see each others dogs coming along. It's also good to have a second opinion in a tricky situation.
  9. I've had a look but the only ones that are on at the minute aren't big enough for what I need.

  11. There's an urban Fox with 3 legs round my way, I don't know if he's still about but he was a big strong healthy animal.

  13. I've knocked and knocked, drove hundreds of miles and still had nothing. It sickens you when you keep getting turned away. I dress smart, speak politely and offer to do jobs around the farm etc but still no good. I will be going knocking again soon and I'll be handing cards out. Something should finally pop up
  14. Will keep a look out mate. Hopefully she will be returned to her rightful owner. I've actually dug to a few of her litter mates if I'm thinking correct. Good luck in finding her

  17. @sionhughes that's a brilliant tool you've made there mate, what diameter bar have you used to fabricate that with? I think I will have a go at making one of them at work. Is it strong and sturdy?
  18. That's a beauty Nick, there is one thing I would definitely add though and that's a footplate. Other than that, I would love that in my kit.

  20. what couples/collars are they mate, is it the leather couples or the plastic?
  21. Thanks for the replies. I have been shooting at a local clay shooting club but I haven't been for a while. When I was there I was using over and indeed but I'm not sure what make or size. All I can say is that I wasn't very comfortable and I wasn't hitting many. In the summer I like to go to a lot o game fairs and I always have a go on the clay shoot and I always use the side be side, using this type I am a much better shot and feel more comfortable so that is why I'm edging towards a side by side. I just thought I would try and get the advice of more experienced folk before I go ahead. Again,
  22. Hi all, I'm going to put in for my shotgun cert soon. I will just be using the gun for pidgeon shooting and a bit of clay as well. The thing is, I don't really know with what gun to start with so I would like a bit of feedback on what gun to begin with. I prefer the side by side 12 gauge, as I have shit them before and found I liked them. I wouldn't know what make of gun to get to start with, so please, any advice would be much appreciated.
