  1. I've got friends not to far away from there, I will pass the word on and tell them to keep an eye out.
  2. There was one in the miscellaneous section not long back, try that mate
  3. Thanks for the advice dayglowfrog, I will definitely take it into consideration. I think I am going to go with the TX like, went to the local army store today and they had one on the shelf, it just felt right when I had a hold of it. I will be buying within the next 2 weeks I think.
  4. Thanks for that Si, I will check it out and see what is available.
  5. Ftm, the reason I would like to go with a springer is because that's what I've used as a kid and I enjoyed it. Although I do like the idea of a PCP and also the look of them, and I have no doubt that I will purchase one in the future, but for the time being I am going to start with a springer.
  6. Thanks for the replies. My next question was going to be, which calibre would be better off? But as you have stated Jonjon, either will be good. Cheers
  7. I very nearly bought the TX 200 yesterday after reading up a bit on it, but I held back and thought I would seek out some experienced advice before diving face first. I do like the gun though. Thanks for the reply
  8. Hi there, I've been debating whether or not to get an air rifle for a while now, and I have decided to go ahead and get one. I've done bits in the past when I was younger, used to have a Webley Exocet and a BSA Lightning. I only used them for raking about and nothing serious. Now I plan to do some rabbit shooting and also some target practice at a local club. What this post is about, is to get some recommendations on which gun would be perfect to start with? I think I would prefer a spring over a gas. Cheers
  9. Have a look on "fortis clothing" they have some excellent gear on there. It's grea quality and a good service
  10. Cracking pups, cracking price and a cracking cross, they will make excellent all rounders. If I was in the market for a lurcher then I would snap your hand off. Very best of luck with the sale
  11. Wow!! Now that's what you call a bond between man and dog, well done for persevering MIK and I hope the dog is okay in the end. that's a scary situation to be in, as you could of easily drowned as well. Hats off to you mate
  12. Had one dig about a month ago but it was far to warm and cover was horrible. Starting properly next weekend with a nice 9 hour round trip to Wales. Would not have it any other way. Can't wait to get some serious mud on the bank. Good luck people, I hope you all have a good season and the pups get going!
  13. As the title states. Signed copy in excellent condition. The case that the book is inside has a bit of slight damage but nothing serious. £110 posted or I would do a straight swap for now that's what I call terrier work 1 and 2. Cheers.
  14. Yeah he's a nice stamp, I'm more than happy with him.
  15. Really nice pup that mate, best of luck with it.
  16. She has a little bit mate, she shouldn't struggle in small places that's for sure.
  17. My bitch ready to start around Christmas time.
  18. CN just has blak dogs, usually has 2 or 3 kicking about the yard and they come from he's father. He only uses them to bolt the odd fox along side the hounds. Like RH has already said, he's more of a hound and lurched man.
  19. cracking stamp for a bitch, really like her a lot!
  20. Ive messaged you mate, can you get back to me asap.
  21. I like the sharptooth. Good bit of kit. I just need to find a way to carry it on the quad this season. Its to long to go in the box. I don't go on a quad mate so I can't help with that one, maybe strap it onto the top of the box with some bungee cords?
  22. Bought a sharptooth fork beginning of last season and it's one of the best investments I've made to date. Fairly expensive for a digging tool but saves a lot of time when your on really hard ground. Would never leave the house without it now, brilliant bit of kit.
