I think that's what it's about, trusting the dogs judgment. Sometimes though a place looks nailed on and a little niggle in your mind is thinking the dog could be wrong. But like u say an experienced dog rarely is.

After a discussion with an old hand the other day I thought I throw this out there and see what everyone's views are. How do you like a dog to work. You come across a earth with obvious signs of use your experienced dog has a sniff and comes away uninterested now this place is a big rangey spot would you take the dogs word or would you prefer a dog that enters and searches the earth before saying no. Bearing in mind the game could have been laid still for 12 hours or so . Me personally I would like the dog to search it especially if its a big spot and looks in use but he said if there's nowt

Look online for a site called salvo. Used to be loads of adverts on there of people wanting small quantities of a particular brick/tile for a job

My Sealyham bitch. Pm welshydale on here he has a Sealyham dog also maybe a pup for sale. Dug this bitch twice not a year old till next month. Showing lots of promise

I've got a double box that I used to have in my car. Was made for spaniels so a bit bigger than terrier ones. Not the prettiest but do their job. I'm in Doncaster if u want em they are yours

I bred a litter of half crosses they are just coming up 2 now and they have exceeded what I thought they would. Will be breeding the bitch again this year as she is 7 now and a few who had them want another.

Animal inn on barbot hall ind est open again. He does minced chicken and tripe etc from Durham animal feeds. A box of 20 for about 9 quid

First show I have been to on years. When u got women turning up with a van full of dogs and brushing and spraying em at side of ring I don't think I will be going to any more. There were a few decent lads with dogs that had done a bit but the majority were stood there having there balls stroked -
Sealyham pup showing all the signs of a decent dog in the making. Dug her a few times she will be more than ready for it in the autumn

So you mean he couldnt Hack it so got out and now slaggs those that had the Minerals ?Plenty Folk up here having a drink tonight too lol OH HE COULD HACK IT BUT JUST COULDNT PUT UP WITH THE UNIONS AND RULES AND ALWAYS HAD AMBITIONS SO STARTED HIS BUISNESS WHICH IS STILL DOING WELL TODAY. Work with a few like that now. They don't turn down the pay rises the unions get em though but would be the first to scab if there was a strike
