six years might be a bit long mate to try to start a terrier working. But you never know if the breeding is there it might still take to the digging. Sorry not made it clear. i meant to use as a stud. the dog is a pet and could not take it digging. In that case absolutly not! If the dog hasnt worked dont breed from it. No matter how good the breeding of the dog is. If I was Breeding I would like to see both parents with at least four seasons work under its belt. i can see where you are coming from but thats ok in theory. how many pups are bred these days off parents who ha

would any of you lads use a dog that is bred to the bollocks but was sold to a pet home. the dog in question is out of my old dog (now dead) and a 110% digging bitch, he was given to a mate 6 years ago as a pet . when he walks him he flies to ground and has caught a couple of mink on the river bank. he is the only dog i can find out of my old one. is it worth a gamble? The old dog was one in a million but was run over when my bitch ex wife let all my dogs out after an argument one night. your thoughts please.

i`ve seen gouldy dig . build brick walls . chop big logs. and knock some big fellas out all with one arm .. YES, AND HE WAS ALSO GOOD WITH OR WITHOUGHT THE GLOVES LIKE BRIGHTMORE HE WAS A BIG CHARECTOR THE TERRIER GAME COULD DO WITH MORE LIKE THEM NOW,,,, he was a handy boxer in his day. ive been digging with gouldy in ireland in the nineties and yes he can dig but as for knocking out big fellas, dont know. i think him having one arm has stopped him being on his arse quite a few times. he is a great fella while things are going his way!!!!

Pauls dog Flint was by Spartacus. The man was from epsom/leathrhead area and was around in the 90s. i used to dig down there a lot then . i will find out what bitch he was out of.

had 2 dogs that stand out. one bitch was tall maybe 15 inches but was narrow, had stick thin legs and a very snipey had. lookd like a whippet with a docked tail but that bitch killed loads of foxes.. took hell of a lot of punishment but never once spewed it. also had a bitch out of my old dog simon {son of goulds stormer) that was maybe 10" and about 12lbs and though never had the knack or strength to kill a fox dug hundreds with her, she also had a lot of stick, it was in her breeding to go forward all the time but always flw to ground screaming to get there. think it is down to the dog at th

I've just eaten some cheese that was BB 11/06/08. Only saw the date when half way through but finished it anyway. If no posts tomorrow, all OK. (Must clear the fridge out more regularly!) Cheers, D. cant see how cheese can go off..is it not made by going off? when i was an apprentice butcher we used to eat sausages that had been hung in fridge for weeks..my gaffer used to eat em raw. wasnt there a programme on the other week about stuff being past its sell by date being total shit.

when i was young we kept greyhounds and all we gave them was goats milk, even made porridge with it. i used to go to George Newcomes and he had a nanny and he would milk it and his pups went mad for it

cant understand why u just dont go and kick the shit out of him and make him tell you where the bitch is and then go and take it. what is hard about that. u cant want it bad enough or it would have been done by now and if your chicken to do it by yourself take some mates im sure some woud go judging by other posts. if it was mine it would be back in my kennels by now i can assure you. dont know the bloke but im sure his arse would drop out if you knocked on his kitchen door at 6 in the morning

my mates spaniel got over his lurcher bitch a few years ago and the pups looked just like that.
