Get a big spanner wrap it in cloth,put it in the trigger housing an tap sharply with a hammer. If the original springs in,put the rear of the cylinder on a cloth on the floor,stand over it gripping firmly and unwind it slowly,towards the end. Job done! Make sure you cock the trig

Co2 acts like a PCP!! Airgun shooter ran a ratty test with crosman nudging 8.4ft/lb at 512fps Bisley pest control did 9.6ft/lb at 490fps. Co2 like heavier pellet's. There's no guarantee your's will like these pellet's. For the sake of £6,give em a go! Personally,i'd be looking at jsb exact for general work. But as your a feral/rat man,the Pest Control make the most sense. Dont go daft and try Magnum's you'll probably end up with about 6.5ft/lb,a step too far!! Let us know how you get on buddy.

Probably should mention,yes the barrel is the best source to increase the power,there's not much difference between so called fac reg's and standard uk power reg's. It's a small change made with the shim's in the reg to differentiate between .177/.22.(fac upto 28ft/lbs IS the same reg) The true FAC reg came about in about 2000 for the mk3 because of the yank's wanting 35/40 ft/lbs,hence Bowkett made an upgraded one for export! It looks like a 19" barrel similar to the one someone used to clock mine,it's currently getting chopped by xtx to 10'5" having used chair gun to do the math's this will give me 11ft/lbs coming off the bottle instead of what it was doing. Another shout for a good reliable silencer is the Logun Decimeter. When I had my Ultra .22 the action was still loud with the weihrauch fitted! I had to modify the internals of the weihrauch with better sound proofing,The Logun remained standard,its the only silencer I've never had to modify!! Its also cheaper and british!

Forgot to mention the action is quite loud,because its a very short rifle. I used to use a weihrauch with the internals wrapped in fleece,which dulled the twang still further. I was able to use and still do,use a logun decimeater silencer,unmodified and its quieter than the modded weihrauch. I tried 6 different mod's and the decimeater is imo the best,without modification,and cheaper in my rfd by £12. I'm starting to sound love sick!! They really are the best you can get for the money!! An as Zini has proven,will out perform lots of very expensive so called top end rifle's with aplomb.

Put your thumb on the probe its silent when you press the catch,also,pull the trigger when you cock the mmc it too is silent. Never had a single problem with my second hand .22.
