as were well under way with the Pheasant season, wondered if anyone had any good recipes for Pheasant.. got a brace at the mo, thinking of roasting it with lots of red wine and herbs. any ideas?

does any one have experience in dealing with the National Organisation of Beaters? i registered with them a few weeks back but have not heard anything or received anything from them.. just after an idea on how to start beating..i'm a complete novice to it but am really interested in starting.

the owner only owns the land..its the tenant whos put money in to buy grass seeds, corn etc.. so surely its his crops that your protecting. i would have thought if you've got the tenants permission you should be fine

Hi Guys any tips on shooting rooks in a corn field. the farmer of my permission has just done his 3 fields into corn and has a big problem with rooks and crows visiting. Many Thanks

i know nothing about docking puppy tails..however i do know about docking lambs tails, can you not use the same method I.E Banding at 2 days old.

Dogs chase cats it's a fact..my Spaniel got hold of the neighbours pet rabbit once..she soon dropped it when she realised what it was, Couple of weeks before that she killed a chicken - Doesn't make her an evil dog. your mate sounds like he needs to man up! -

I made that mistake few years back with one of my jills she was tame as you can get as soon she had them kits she turned into my mother in law a right cu*t.

i've got one of these for a couple of chickens..there a bit flimsy and it doesn't take long for the mesh to start coming away from the wood. i wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
