a strange one but maybe a very simple explantion had something simular with a cocker we had would work all day no prob soon a s he stepped on kennell floor carried his front leg of ground checked joints squeezed pads not a whimper until one evening i seen him stamping his foot on the floor looked at his pad swelled like a balloon it felt very warm so i give it a sharp squeeze pop the puss shot out of it and after a quick rinse low and behold a small shard of glass poking out removed it quick jab and clean up prob was solved also through the years the old time queen ann legged russells as some

coonboy brian nuttall has produced some very good dogs through the years but for every bit of good he s done for the working terrier hes tarnished it by selling dogs and pups as fast as he can produce them not to mention buying in litters not to mention selling pups that should nt even of been of the bitch never mind sold to a new home its actually sick! plus seen it with my own eyes at a show he was judging he never looked at half the dogs in the ring in each class give out the prizes then bang back and side doors of van were flung open and it was time to sell he had dogs pups and bitches wit

pups will be pups and its a good healty sign to see that he s into everything plus looks a nice type as well i bought a rottie pup last year for round the house if you think your pup can make a mess well you want to see some of the things this boy has left sitting at the back door step a full bag of fire wood pulled round the place and chewed to ribbons the lining of the canopy on my pick up pealed like an orange and chewed in the time it took to get my hair cut in town one saturday morning another time i was cutting lawn looked round and he was trailing the strimmer of round the corner to tr

nice to read a post a genuine one at that for a change from a fella who seems to be level headed .there still plenty of lads that work the type of dog you a referring to and they come in all sorts there s border, border crosses ,lakie, fell and black dogs with good tight broken coat s and the good old russell is still alive well and working in many kennell all these dogs have been used through the years in rocks etc so hopefully some of the genuine lads that work this type of ground may help you out all the best in your search .

some lads have diff veiws on this but imo if say a lad starts with two dogs and breeds them when he s happy that the parent are doing what he requires and keeps his pups and works them and keeps the ones that do whats required and does right thing by those that dont if he keeps going like this and then does his homework on an outcross and goes at all costs to use the dog he s selected and then turns the good pups out of this mating back into the original blood and so forth and so on then i think he deserves the credit for the dogs he has in his kennell i know he s really only moulding and keep

i ve been feeding a narrow spot on a fair sized lake now for past few weeks its always been a great spot at start of season and we always get sport even when not fed now the feeding is gone every day i go back to feed there s two adult swans and 5 young there and id says they are having a nibble but thing is im watching it at last light and the duck are coming in but there flighting in just the other side of the pond id like to see them dropping straight into the pool with the feeding just to be sure they are getting the majourity of the grub. ps im feeding it with barley fed along the margins

very true cleanspade there s plenty of bullshit talking dog dealers over here same as everywhere else
-
glad to hear you got him back but just shows you the mentality of some people they find a dog obviously lost and first thing they do is arrange to sell it instead of trying to find its rightful owner fcuking low imo but alls well that ends well you ll sleep better tonight bbb

ha ha theres no doubt there s some good dogs and good families of dogs in ireland but there s equally as good a dogs and families of dogs over the pond as well same as years ago you just have to know were to look

Ireland Lawerencetown Show, Cancelled
dee mac replied to dessie m's topic in Gamefairs, Meet Up's and Events
from what i can see the shows of years ago were by working men met up for a bit of banter and to get a few dogs out of kennells for the day has long gone it used to be well hows things not long to hunting season starts now there s people saying cant wait not be long to show season its a bit sad i ve watched a few of these serious lurcher racers at the few shows i ve been at and it defies belief this is there main aim when it comes to dogs not the working side at all now if there heart is really in racing why not then get out among the big boys at the race track and see what it takes to get a g -
theres stuff you can get for treating mastitis in cattle comes in a plastic syringe type container cant remember the name of it of hand its top class stuff for eye infection etc also very good for open cuts and the like as well

no worse feeling than waiting three to four weeks on a dog to heal either you need the happy medium in my opinion

coonboy this topic is a non runner if you read the first handfull of posts its there for you to see thats if you want to see secondly you keep coming on with the same argument all the time like your looking for a particular response and as for some of the posts your agreeing with if you were a genuine terrierman with an inkling of wit then them posts would not of registered and fellmans point like the ones in the first few posts would of registered. sounder lock or wipe this and be done with it its just going to round and round to someone fcuks there laptop out a window.

yea i hear what you saying coonboy but dont believe everything you read and dont make assumtions based upon them as waz says thats a conversation for a quiet night in local over a few pints of beer

nicely put waz

in theory your spot on coonboy but only in time will theory be found right or wrong plus from what i can see over in europe digging is a fairly new thing and money seems to be a very common thing over there when it comes to terriers as with over here terriers have been a way of life for a long time and thankfully a lot of lads this side still cherish and improve there terriers without even thinking of money so the terrier will be safe here for a long time yet but over the other side money could be the undoing before you s really get your feet off the ground just my opinion but thats how it loo

Ireland Irish Game & Country Fair Birr 25th & 26th August
dee mac replied to AlbertJ's topic in Gamefairs, Meet Up's and Events
i never understood that terrier lurchers free entry at moira as i see it if your going to the game fair you ll want to see all the other bits and peices of the fair and its not like there s one on every weekend so im with albert on this one everything inside the confines of the whole fair so everything is on a level pegging terriers and lurchers are as important as any other fieldsport on display so thats were it should be and everyone pays in as these things are nt the cheapest things to organise and stage if you dont want to pay and contribute to your sports future and public image then easy -
i say he s asking as he s from sweeden and mr nuttall has probaly peddled a few over that lenght and its a name he s heard banded about but if he lived here and knew the score id say he would not be asking the same question so i would nt go to town on the fella lads he s prob just keen to get started and trying to get on his feet
-
i ll give you a fact alberto moira has been gaining ground on shanes castle now for the past few years and i think its starting to show as your seem very worried about what the competion gets up too as for hype your the one guessing birr will be bigger than ballinlough this year neither fairs have even been on yet as for the facts you never answered where you in ballinlough last year ?
-
were you at ballinlough last year albert and im not questioing the facts im just saying at every chance you get the dig in and reading from were im sitting its childish you suspect birr will have more this year again which maybe true but bigger is not always better you may of heard that once or twice before lol
-
This is the fair that was staged at Ballinlough last year and was much smaller than our fair at Birr Castle. Hi Albert This thread was started by myself to promote the Lurcher & Terrier events at Borris and not to be used as compare the gamefairs.com So would you kindly find another way of continuing your "spat" with the organisers of this Game Fair and refrain from using this thread for this reason. Regards Ian Ian, Guy asked a question just giving him a factual answer - best of luck with your event. Albert your being a bit pissy albert i was at both moir
