First class video again Si. Although you were too much of a true English gentleman to name the person who called you a liar. I wonder if now you have proved that you can indeed do what you said you can, if the person who called you a liar will do the decent thing and give Si a public appolgy. I know that Si is too much of a gentleman to press for a public appolgy, but he deserves one. Just because i can not put pellet on pellet, doesn't meen that someone who doesn't twitch and has better shooting skills can. I have seen people cut a playing card in half with a shot, pellets split in knife

Part of me is happy that we have nosey parkers that notice this and had the nerve to report it, but equally part of me want to say "keep your nose out", Hope you and family get over it quickly and return to normallity mate. It was just a "I'll make you a hospital appointment. Said to wife when i got home that i have a feeling it's cancer. Well hospital appointment within two weeks, confirm my diagnosis "skin cancer" doctor at hospital said should get appointment within two weeks. He was spot on because today's the day (stealing fr

Gold Day for me and the AA s400 thanks to Si and Davy.
porkycrook replied to porkycrook's topic in Airgun Hunting
Milegajo, zero corrected. Villaman, Thank you. Stuart, Thank you for your kind words. As for my sister, she will never get better. The doctors from the hospital have told her, she has real trouble if she does anything to get out of breath, even getting up steps knock her for six. She has recently started falling over for no reason, so thats another worry. Elliott, Thank you -

Yes i'm lucky that her garden backs onto fields. -
You might be aware that i have been lucky enough to of had my gun and scope set up by Davy Thomas and Si Pittaway, for that i am so so grateful. They have set-up my gun/scope to be zero'd at 30 yards, they have also given me the trajectory infomation at all ranges. Well what non of you will of known is that my older sister is unwell. After a lifetime of caring she now finds herself in need of care herself. After our mum died my sister has been left in the house on her own, now what with the lonelyness and being unwell has left her with some dark thoughts. So i am going to visit her more an

Seriously thou i have a set for walking 'n' shooting, i have a pair for when i;m sitting in a chair, i have even got a set of tripple sticks. One thing i have got that i use a lot is a camera tri-pod but the head is a fishing rod support, i also carefully drilled a hole in the underside of my stock (near balance point) and tapped a thread in

Spring piston rifle vermin control with Si Pittaway and Davy Thomas
porkycrook replied to zini's topic in Airgun Hunting
You know that the two of you mean so much to me and what ever you want to do, you will have my backing. Any shot you two take, i know you would of made a calculated decision to pull the trigger and to end the life of a living creature. You are taking flak from somebody that has realised that he will never be able to shoot as good as you. How many people has asked for your help in putting information into Chairgun Pro, if Ferritts Boller (or what ever the loser goes by. If he was that good surely the people would be asking him, but there are not. People watch loads of sports every Satur -

Phantom mate, Craig is an OK guy but one thing that you will have to bear in mind is that he resides in the Black Country. Mind you he has one very good thing that makes up for that downfall, he's got a cracking looking daughter . She got that from her mother no doubt!

Just had the shock of my life reading this. I thought Adam was telling the forum about the measurments of my Ding-Aling. After he promised he wouldn't tell after he see me in the shower at the Nottingham meet. Only havin a laugh Adam.
-
So have you moved over to here Craig, or do you want a hand with your belongings?
-
You are correct in what you say. I am going through the Davyt organised meet rule book and nowhere does it say that i can't use my "Idleback" chair (hugo1 this won't mean a thing to you), but the other two you better be running scared lol

I would like to take this chance to thank two of the nicest most decent men that it has been my preivilege to meet. If i ever get termed a friend to both of them it would make me very happy indeed. The two men are doing me a hugh favour by setting up my Air Arms 410 Carbine in .22 caliber. The two men are Davy Thomas and Si Pittaway, they are setting my rifle to shoot as accurate as it can and they will be suppling all the information that they use for Hawke ChairGun Pro. Thankyou to the both of you from me and if i can ever help you in any way i can, just ask.
