Never heard of problem with buying batteries.

Yes i agree with Matt that we all (well most) did things when we were younger but i can only speak for my self. I never did anything anywhere ear this moronic act. The trouble is the more times these idiots do this sort of things the more we will be pushed into legistation.

I have purchased two items direct from China or should it be through E-Bay and has had two different deals, one very good and one real crap. One that was good was for an IR torch, the bad one was for a torch mount. For my bit if you can get from anywhere else at a sensible price do so, or if you have to buy from China keep on top of the deal chase them up at every date.

No not compulsory. Where i shoot (Oxfordshire so Thames Valley Police) i phone 101 for both of my permissions can be seen by public, one can see me from railway line and the other can see me from road. As i can be seen then i report so if joe public see me and report they have seen a nutter in camo gear carrying a rifle. To save the police sending the local swat team out to find me, search me, conviscate my gun to take it for testing to make sure it's not over power. This will mean that i'm without my only gun for a time.

Hi Daryl i don't know if i can be much help to you but i live in Oxford. I have severe trouble walking and standing too long but if your permissions are sit and wait i can do that. I have an AA410 and i also have a night-sight. Roger

What To Use For Cleaning My Air Riffle?
porkycrook replied to trigger2's topic in General Airgun Discussion
What i use on my Air Arms 410 is a "Tuff cloth" which if you believe the hype is "what USA armed forces use. It is a cloth that is epregnated with cleaner, conditioner. You can buy it in a foil bag or a plastic tub, which is the one i chose thinking that the tub would be able to keep the cloth fresh. Search for "Tuff Cloth". -
Oxford born and bred here.

If you want to see which pellet gives a flatter trajectory and to save buying either a tin of each or go to buy one of those trial packages. If you download the Hawke Chair Gun Pro, what you can do then is to put in all of your constant figures in the program. Then you can play around changing the pellets and it will give you a visual idea of each pellet trajectory.

If you have a chrono that you can shoot through at distance rather than than the type that go on the end of the barrel. If you have one or can get one then what i would suggest is to do a near and far reading. What you do is to set the chrono at say 5 yards, then shoot a few shots over to get a string average. Then move the chrongraph to say 40 yards then repeat to get an average reading at that distance, and put that reading into Chair Gun. By putting that information in to Chair Gun Pro you are giving it figures that it would be otherwise put use figures that have been programed to use.

We all (well most of us) have had to work hard to get our permissions, often having to work for years to get the permission from the land owner. Well we then get either a call or a yes come in for a chat. Then the landlord says that his problem is pigeon taking his crop/crapping on his machinery, well if you only have an air rifle you then rule yourself out of the running for this job because the farmer will want lots of pigeon rather than one or two that an air rifler can take. So what i am saying is the farmer/land owner rules what and how many of each vermin he wants us to take, he may jus

I don't use this, i use a Tuff Cloth it is amazing. Might not be any use to you, sorry.

Nice shooting mate. Regards Roger

Tanican as you said in your post that you know Simon then you know above all thing he is honest as the day, so without a thought i believe what Simon has said. I like a lot of others know Simon personally and have watched him shoot. When Simon is shooting he is totally absorbed in the action and will never pull the trigger unless he is sure that his prey will die with the least amount of pain. But to see him shoot targets he will take more time than anybody else, it's(without being over the top) as though he gets into a sort of zenn. He will slow his breathing so he knows the rize and fall of

As there is no hard and fast rule for secondhand prices for gunstocks like most things it's in the eye of the beholder along with condition, but i would put a price of £120 upwards for the beauty. Regards Roger

Looks bootiful mate

Real nice unit Pete my only concern with it is the camera. With the camera fixed onto the rail that far away from its fixing point that it would be easy to knock out of true. That said it looks good.

What To Do With My Old Air Rifles
porkycrook replied to tilimangro's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Apart from finding a local shooting club (you haven't filled in your local) that might take them off your hands, the only other route would be selling them seperate on here. I would take your Airsporter off your hands, it will go with my other Airsporter and perhaps i can make a good one out of two. Best of luck in what ever route you take. Roger -

Forgot to say in my earlier post that i love all vermin shooting, although my most hated is rats then squirrels then the rest. So keep the videos coming and you must keep saying after every kill shot "it's just nerves" lol, sorry for having at all you video makers. You are all a darn site braver than me each and every one of you. Keep them coming. ATVB Roger -
The man in question that we are talking about on here is every thing you say and more. I had the pleasure of meeting the chap only once around a cof (no i was about to say a coffee table but with his history that wouldn't be true) a table at a meet. He had brought his unit to show us all, as some of us had brought a night vision while some were interested in buying. So if he had been of a business mind shall we say he could of sold a handfull but his mind was not on the job in front of him, so lost a bit of business. Well after the weekend and it was a long while afterwards, out of the blue i

Hope you don't mind me peeing on your parade but the early shots you took the point of impact was way off your aim point. So my question is what aim point are you using and what is your zero ? ATVB Roger -
Go onto You-Tube and search evo-huntsman and you should be able to view his system and get contact details from there, failing that pm me and i will give you his contact details.
-
Go on to you-tube and search for EVO-HUNTSMAN i have one of his systems which took the place of a NiteSite NS50 and i have got to say that his system is far better than the NS50.
