    The instructions on how to do it is right. If you don't want to phone them then that is your choice, but I do it on both of my permissions (one can be seen from train line, the other is near a road) because there will be the one occasion that the public reports this man with a gun. So the choice is yours young man.

    Before anybody gives you advice it would be better if you could put up some photographs of the cracks, but without seeing the crack if no damage I would think that it will be repairable.

    This is what happens when people keep doubting his word or his shooting abilities. It ends up wearing on your nerves if the same people keep calling into doubt what you have said or have done. So after a long time Si has decided to get away from it all, and as Davy has said he is also busy on VHTV.

    How good timing is this I have been looking at these this afternoon, so I am so happy that my timing was good this time. Every bodies comments about sweating means they are no good to me as I sweat like a stuck pig just looking at somebody else walking. So thanks guys for saving me £200.

    No don't use raw you must use boiled linseed, you can even use walnut cooking oil. The best way to use it is too put a couple of drops of the oil onto the palm of either your palm or if you are using rubber gloves. Then work it into the stock as hard as you can, if you can work it so hard that your hand gets hot. Then another couple of drops then again.

    Only thing I can suggest is to contact Air Arms direct and ask Themis there a shortage of the gun? And see what they have to say about it.

    There are lots of videos on YouTube on the matter. If you are a competent handyman then you should be able to do the job yourself. Go onto YouTube and look up cold glueing, you should then be able to do the job yourself. After splitting the gun you then have to sand the barrel back to white metal with no scratches showing. Then clean the barrel again and again and again, until it is operating room clean. Then with the blueing of your choice start wiping your barrel with it and watch your handy work come to life.
