  1. Firstly the video if the one posted on here is the one you are talking about is in yrds not meters so may i suggest you watch it again and you will spot this on the target written in pen, the video which i have watched and also praised up because of the conditions and not knocked like some have done over tampering accusations. Secondly I only made a statement which was in conection to a comment made about humane killing, and you are absolutely correct that hunting was not mentioned in the original question but I am aware of this as I asked the question. I was involving someone who was polite
  2. Poor chap plastic jock obviously can't divulge information unless it's in small sentances with little words. I suggest you read it again I said it's not possible to hit a one inch group! I did say I can hit rabbits at 100 meters but unless rabbits have shrunk since the last time I went out they are larger than an inch square by a fare bit as I recall. But I do agree entirely on the subject of being humane to animals. Quote i choose to move closer for the head shot, and personally nope I have never done or seen it! Morning all.
  3. I have two pcps the shinsung is capable of 60ftp at that power you wouldn't hit even something the size of Dawn french's ass the pellets can't take it. I also have an rws rapier.22 pcp I run at 30 FT, they have no recoil and at that power will go threw standard decking boards at fifty paces and that particular gun us more accurate than anything I have ever shot in my life due to the fact it doesn't move they're stupidly accurate really. I tried selling it on it the other day infrared set up the lot about £1200 for £850 but never even got a sniff. But 140yrds 1" pft I'm off to bed.
  4. Funny thing is I kind of agree and there has been various different remarks and comments from all types and most on a completely different wavelength, all I asked basically is it possible to hit a one inch group at a hundred meters with a .22rf consistently or am I listening to bullshit. Personally a one inch group nope I have never done it or seen it not at that distance outside with a standard hunting rifle. This of course leads to people saying they shoot rabbits at that distance, well so could I but not humainly I could hit them in the head or smash there back legs off no problem but choos
  5. Close but 8.6meters short of the 100 meter mark, but I'm not knocking it no way that is top shooting hardly looks the best day for it either. Also we never saw him measure it though I never watched the whole clip, Christ I'm gonna get a kicking for this ha ha! Top shooting high five from me.
  6. Just read some of the recent posts and I think shit hot that's why I started this conversation. I totally agree ammo is inaccurate and a .22 is an inside the 100 gun for consistency more like 75 or 85 for a clean kill everytime, good job some of us are not made of wood or there wood be some massive noses. Also I think I must have been reading a story book earlier because I'm sure no body would seriously think they could get a 1.1" group at 125 and do even better and hit a magpie 145 with an airifle. My .22 rapier is at 30.2ftp anymore you burn the tails I have a shinsung which will go about
  7. I have done exactly what the fella with the range finder did from 20 meters out to 180 and stuck the results to my range finder only I only use them out to 100 because past 90 really is pot shots for me. And as for 180 meters the drop was such alot I ran out of mill dots so was completely guess work so I sacked it. The problem I think is most definitely the rounds, let's face it they're cheap and nasty how ever much you pay for them. Some of the cheapest rounds are infact made buy a company who make the most expensive just a different label and price baby! By the way I ran out of mil dots at
  8. Yeah would love to arrange a shoot one day would be good. I have just bought a cz452 varmint.22 I prefere it over the hmr it's lovely and quite. I'm not a bad shot I'll hit drawing pin heads consistently out to 70 from 20, now I no what that sounds like but I'll video it and send it to you. Try this. Zero your gun at 20 meters and because of the rise before the fall you will have the same zero at 50 in-between 20 and 50 you'll only be about 8 to 11 mm high also zeroing at twenty you will put as many rounds as you like threw the same hole this saves rounds and you will be bang on. Then 50 to 70
  9. I agree with you my friend and after all this is a site for chat amongst "adults" with a common interest and your right there is no place for bullying of any kind neither in cyber world or the real one. When I started this a few weeks ago I was basically just checking out if a consistent group of say five rounds could be slot into a small group repeatedly for arguments sake 5 times on the trott. My hmr17 223 and 243 will easily but why I asked specifically for a .22 rimfire is because I can't not a 2" group anyway not even 3, but hear so many people say they can and my personal opinion is it c
  10. Never thought for one minute I'd cause such a debate but that's not a bad thing after all it's a forum. I understand shooting ability and practice along with good kit is essential. I also no that a .22 will kill until the round stops so let's say 800 meters ish with wind trajectory bla bla bla! What I am saying is I do think people who say they group one and half inches at 100 meters outside consistently talk poo poo, infact anyone who sends me a non falsified video with an address on it I'll send the money for a pint. Post it to leamanneil@yahoo.co.uk I'd like to see it is the truth so come
  11. I'm with you 100% on that out to say 85 look out here I come, past that I couldn't hit a cows ass with a shovel. An as for hv I gave em away f in shite!
  12. I use a bolt action with eley subs, maybe its the old "bad workman blames his tools kinda thing". I'm just a shit shot hahaa gonna get some practice in ma booty's! If it can be done it's on my bucket list cheers lads.
  13. Here's one for you. I can shoot rounds into lets say a fifty pence piece out to about meters from my .22lr, the closer I get to my target the closer the grouping at 50 meters inside say something like a 10p piece or smaller. But past 90 well dodgy and at a 100 forget it, but I continue to hear of people hitting 1 inch groups out to a hundred plus am I listening to bullsh*t or can this be done?
  14. New trigger fitted $12 would have paid a hundred and more amazing difference like a new gun.
  15. Trigger fitted, easy to do amazed at the results I'd recommend to anyone it's like a new gun. Shocked to be honest thanks for all the advice guys.
  16. Hi, I have an rws rapier with 3x9x50 ags scopes and silencer with hard case. This gun is obviously legal but has all of the correct adjustments in the right and legal hands to go up to 30ftp plus. It comes with 3 litre diving bottle with everything needed to charge the gun, bottle is in date and has been tested. Also comes with shootalite clulite and various filters including an infra red filter for the infra red camera that slides straight on to the scope this is all boxed lamp and camera alike. The infra red will show eye shine out to 70 meters and will show detail at 50. All is in immaculat
  17. Ill definitely keep you up to speed and be in touch John, and let the rest of you no what these trigger kits are like I have bought one I think it was about £18 from the states hopefully this solves my little glitch. Lovely day down here in Devon today may have to go walkabout with a pocket full eley's, hmmmmm good idea I think!
  18. Hi John, I agree about excellent for the money really is a nice rifle with a smooth bolt action in my opinion. I agree with all you guys on the safety aspect that's obviously priority number one. I thought the trigger may ware in a little but it hasn't happened. Took my brother out today shooting some targets and on his first shot thought he had the safety on it's that bad. I'll wait for the kit and see what it achieves if anything, happy hunting all.

  20. Thanks that's a good piece of advice wouldn't have thought of doing it myself. It's a shame it has to be done at all really bcause for the money I don't think you can go wrong.
  21. Ah nice one felt a bit of a nob buying it then asking about it, had to do it though the one on the gun ruins it. Cheers mate that put my mind at rest.
  22. I have just recently bought a cz452 varmint .22 lr, I'm well happy with it and found eley subs make this gun shoot a dream. EXCEPT! The trigger it's lousy and need the strength of a tug of war team to actually fire the bloody thing. I have just bought a yodave trigger kit off of eBay, are they any good and what are they like to fit? I no your thinking dick head should have asked before the purchase but as they say hindsight is a wonderful thing. Cheers
  23. bought an airrifle when I was 16 that's what I thought the law was. And can assure you what I don't no about airrifles maintenance and tuning isn't worth knowing. Do you drive? I bet if you do you dont no all the laws my friend!
