    I think it's man not machine like I say this is consistent but can be adjusted if I aim left obviously I have aimed high this is at a 20 meter zero which is the same as a 50 zero bar maybe a mm or two.

    Cheers mate thanks alot! See how they go right as it's gets further away, all that can be adjusted and I can fire shots tighter but wanted to show it how it is aiming at the +. with what I gave learnt from alot of you guys I'll get those groups tighter than your grannies best knot thank you all.     I learn ok, leamanneil@yahoo.co.uk if someone can email me there address so I can send a couple of pictures to them to put on here for me I'd be gratefull. It's only to pictures of my groupings from 20 to 100 meters, then I'll use what I have learnt on here to do the same again and show just how listening to other people and not thinking you no it all can improve your shooting .     I haven't been commenting alot lately but have been reading and learning which I think is great for me. Interesting we now have input from a field target enthusiast a totally different point of view and in my opinion advice some of which will stick for sure. My rifle me and the ammunition I use are as far as I am concerned are spot on, but past meters it's as though the round slams the brakes on the drop is that sharp. Well I'm sort of the same, I have a clamp basically I stick in the ground and the gun is strapped to it so basically there is no movement, I put a board at the end of the garden and basically put a whole block threw the gun nice and slow so the barrel doesn't get hot.     How about we all extend the chat and increase it to, what do you and and how would you measure a group? It seems that there are many opinions about that alone. After all the 100m grouping thing seems to have thinned out to a degree of almost nothing and just plane old boring. I have been made aware there are two types of grouping not one, forget ranges pick your own.     I must say I don't do much pest controlling mainly Just sport, but it's the hmr I use when in that situation everytime. For the short gain in distance and obiously the cost in round I stay away from the .22 I'm not a big fan to be honest mine hardly ever leaves the cabinet.

    How do you measure distances then? Do you no what don't even bother I new you'd decline the bet you can't do it never done it but haven't got the balls like me and others to admit it.     You should read everything before you start bumping your gums, I did infact if you read earlier posts say I'd send money for a beer if someone could even e-mail a clip of them doing it time after time as emails are easy to send and left my address. I also said.22 ammunition is shite which is why it would make it almost impossible to do. I am not blaming my tools i am simply saying a 1" group I have never seen.     I have an rws rapier.22 not sure what it'll go up to but I find it runs best and most accurate at approx 30ftb. It's not variable as such I have to change transfer ports etc. I also have a shinsung I paid a whole bunch for and am informed that'll go up round the 50/60 mark but haven't fired it not once it's just a collectable of mine really amongst a few old springers.     I have many rifles from hmr17 to a 303, my choice of weapon for rabbits and smaller game though believe it or not is most definitely my rws.22 pcp. It's more accurate in every range from 10 to 90 yrds plus over the year I save litterely hundreds of pounds. Plus having the knowledge of being able to increase and decrease them allows ferrol pigeon assaults without fear of damaging barns etc. Personally I think rimfires are for nothing better than filling a space in a cabinet.
