I've been reading and noticed,what y'all call "lamping" that is something y'all get to do that we can't, Here it's called jacklighting and it will get Mr. Greenpants(game warden) on you in a heartbeat!!!!

What ever you end up gettin,get you some Aquila subsonic 38gr HP. I shoot them in my trick 10/22 and have never found a round as consistent in every gun I 've ever shot them in. I've spent big $ on 22 shells playing around to see what kinda groups I can get and no matter what I spend per box,nothing topped the Aquila. You oughta try some.

Do the anti's tresspass and give y'all a hard time? Boy, I'd hate to think what would happen if any ever showed up in the woods around here. I've heard some bellyaching out of them on TV but have never seen one out in the open.

What about the gun laws???? As for dumb laws, the yankees in the sewer on the Potomac river (Washington D.C.) came out with the "low flow" toilet to try to force us to save water...I flush one every time I walk past one just out of spite.

Our commie left wing media would have us believe y'all are gunless urbanites except for guys in red suits riding horses and chasing foxes,but I'm see stuff on here about deer and rifles and conibear traps? I'm not sure this is the right part of the site for treeing dogs but here goes This is Ruby,shes 9 m.o. Treeing Feist from the Baldwin line. She's a game gritty little dog that is just starting to tree. This is Booger,he's my #1 and is 5, He's Rat Terrier and we've killed a truckfull of squirrels over this little dog. Here's old Lucy,her race is about run now that she's 18 years old,In her day she was the best I've had,she never weighed over 10lbs but would go from daylight till dark and as far as she had to to get treed and when she treed,the squirrel was there. Gun wise !! I shoot a Mossberg 500 410 most of the time for squirrels,skeet shooting,doves,deer from the treestand and sometimes in the turkey blind,a tricked 10/22 sometimes squirrel hunting and an 870 for ducks. If I use a rifle for deer I'll use my H & R muzzleloader.

We use Treeing Feist dogs and Treeing Rat Terriers for all our squirrel hunting. Those to breeds are the killinest things on four legs! What breeds y'all use and for what game?

I use 30 gallon barrels for both dog houses and my truck box. Why pay 500 bucks for an aluminum box when I can make something just as good for 30!

Hello all, I'm from the from the Southern State of Tennessee in America , thought it might be fun to talk to my cousins in the Countryside there and hear about the outdoor life there! Here I hunt deer,ducks,doves, turkeys and we hunt squirrels alot with dogs, treeing them. Also I enjoy fly fishing for bream,shellcrackers and bass. look forward to swapping stories!!!
