-
bd5 mate half a mile from the 606 roundabout
-
She said she had wormed them but to tell you the truth they probably caught the fleas from her house......ive seen some shit holes in my time but that took the piss...
-
Are fleas normal for a puppy and can they be sorted quickly.......stop saying "a decent person would take them " i feel bad enough as it ffs
-
Do you mean i`m not decent because i didnt take them on.......ive took a lot of advice from this place and all you guys seem to say is "dont take on somebody elses problems" You probably didnt mean to say it like that so no hard feelings !!
-
Its a shame because the pup was saluki x greyhound and although in a state was very nice......i`m off to ring them now
-
I asked her if they were flead and she said yes then she laughed, the dogs were black with a white patch under the chin and you could see the fleas in lumps, my wife was very upset at the state of the dogs. I did think about taking the one i went for but didnt want to start having problems as soon as ive got it home....sounds selfish but i didnt want to start treating a puppy for problems after i was looking for a healthy one...

I went to see a puppy today in Bradford and to tell you the truth i was disgusted by the state of it, it was covered in fleas and couldnt even lift its head up. It was with its sister and that had a "poorly" leg and was also covered in fleas, they had both crated on top of each other with only a small bit of wood for flooring....the house was a shit tip. The girl that answered the door was around 15 and still in pyjamas (it was 3 pm) Ive read that pups can get fleas if the mother has them before they are born but these pups wont last a week in that house, i did feel bad walking away a

I`m almost sorted with the things a new puppy will need and just waiting for the right one to come, i cant seem to find any cast iron time when a pup should be vaccinated, ive read anywhere between 3 and 6 months and some of the dogs ive enquired about havent had the jabs at 7 months old. Is there a time that these should be done by ??

Cant find a dog when you want one !!
Bradleymarky replied to Bradleymarky's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
ive seen a dog that i like thats about a hour away......one thing that bothers me is when sellers say......kept these 2 back for myself but now letting go......is that because they cant sell them and use the wording to get rid or do you think its genuine, bit confused. This is the description......Bred for own use, only 2 left. Bitch (Dave Hancock) ¾ greyhound, ¼ border collie X Dog ¾ bedlington ¼ whippet One more thing...the wife has a cat, would they get along ok if the dog was a pup and was brought up with the moggy -
Cant find a dog when you want one !!
Bradleymarky replied to Bradleymarky's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
You are probably right...maybe i`m not into dogs the way i am into guns so i will wait until i have your approval like i said its not my chosen sport and never will be. I would never arrange a holiday around my sport....my wife would kill me. And once again for the people who didnt read the full thread i dont drive and wouldnt ask anybody to drive me 10 hours to pick up a dog (that i dont deserve to have) thanks for the replies but i will stick to my original plan and buy from the "guy next door" -
