    1 drop of oil on the front of the mag, and one on the side works wonders. i think normal mineral oil maybe bad for the o-ring though. mine don't cycle reliably unless I do this. it maybe different when they're worn in.

    The AA mag system is 16mm high measured off the lower level of the dovetail rail. I am looking at extending the butt for similar reasons (large scope) can you tell me if I have the standard butt pad on - it has a pistol logo on it. (or an F if the gun is rotated anticlockwise). I too cannot find the screwholes. Also I have two layers of rubber - where should I try to split it? Thanks
