    I'm glad someone has taken over Ladybower, it hasn't fished great the last few times I've been, just needs a boost, hope your mate does well, wish him luck from me!

    You might struggle if your fishing in daylight, but Mostyn isn't far away, there is an area of the estuary at Mostyn that has sea defences made out of huge bolders, you can see it clearly from the road, climb over them and you will see a large dog leg made out of the same stones, fish at the side of that, it will protect you from the tide no matter which way it is running, you just have to pick which side to stand on according to how the waters moving, codling, flounder, whiting , eel, can all be caught here, fish are pretty scarse all over north wales at this time of year, good luck!

    It's difficult to understand the mentality of some people, but hate is the easy option in cases like these, the disrespect shown is enough to send you over the edge, but as in all cases, it's the minority who are responsible, people are people all obver the world, for every one arsehole who wants to desecrate a grave, there will be a thousand who go to work every day, trying to feed their kids and just get by!

    Eh up folks, just thought I'd introduce my self with a story on how I came to love Lurchers and hunting, hope you like it! I was born in the late 1960s into a large family that lived in an even larger town in the north west of England, my father was a drain layer and my mother stayed at home to look after myself and my siblings, in 1972 my father fell ill and was taken into hospital, he was a child of the 1930s and had known great hardship as a boy, this less than perfect start and the years of working out in all weathers had taken their toll and so his illness kept him in and out of hospi
