    Dankung is a good place to order for tubes, have'nt tried there pouches as i can source leather here at a decent price an make my own .

    About half inch river pebbles er there abouts ,also marbles ,9.5 steels ,an am thinkin of ordering a 10mm sinker mold as well ,but i shoot tubes an occasional squares i cut from a gum rubber sheet exclusively ,never tried tbg hear it's noisy an prone to breaking like the durability of tubes an solid gum squares me self.

    Tubes last longer ,how ever some say they can't shoot tubes accurately an some vice a versa i only shoot tubes my self alas used thera band green ,an some squares i cut out from a natural rubber sheet as well ,i recently purchased some 2050 dankung tube lastic have'nt used it on any thing yet but i here from all over the dankung lastic is very good an reasonable cost wise for sure i'd definately try some out if i was you .

    Yeah how do you make micarta ,stll wanna integrate some in to my home made naturals,the latest catty is a beaut man i could see carryin some thing along those lines every day ,an i really love my natural forks .

    I like that one better that the other's ,simply because of the ply wood core as opposed to single hard wood have seen a few to many accidents from those board cut's to rely on em myself ,nice work on em though i really like the over all design on that one too.

    Longers7 how you drilled an slotted your fork's is what i was talking about in my thread asking how to make micarta i wanted to reinforce where the holes an slots are to hope fully prevent them from cracking in the eveent of a fork hit also figured that the micarta is provably denser than wood so if the wood was sandwiched between two pieces of micarta" just the tip's now an me be a little more feathering down "mebe it would help the tubes last longer as it would cause a lower abrasion mebe?

    First may be read some of the old post's see what others views of the diffrent catty's are ,if cash is an issue er you just like to work with crafts mebe make your first one it can be as simple as finding a comfortable fork an banding it with the various elastic's that are available ,but do some reserch first imo then you can procede from there ,definately don't shell out a big wadd of cash till you get familiar with them though .

    May be Dankung they have quality frame's so i'm told ,and at a reasonable cost too.

    was wondering if any one could direct me in making some micarta? to reinforce fork tips so i can make the quick change style fork tips kinda like a dankung er something ,uh like to use the looped tube's 1745's er in my case 2050?

    I'd take a guess an say a well prepared natural fork would last a life time er more if it is taken care of an well sealed if it is to be used in a wet climate ,course if you have your heart set on a aluminum frame their are many to choose from .

    Just make up several fork's an band em up with diffrent lastic try out a bunch then decide whichone er ones are right for you mebe.

    So do the alliance bands last as long or longer than the thera band type stuff,on the average ,i ask cause i saw sum thera green in the light and dark for sale cheap to day but i passed because i thought you have to change bands continuously?

    Gaz nice shooting that catty though some of those is made of like pot metal an they can break off a fork quite readily just seen one last night some fellah tapped to see what a fork hit might do an the fork broke off clean as a whistle ,so just a heads up be safe man.
