First Time At A Shooting Club This Sunday
Skot Ruthless Teale replied to webster's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Just be yourself, if you don't like someone ignore them and when the posh twat who has all the gear and no idea starts crying that your hw's springer are outshooting his overprice gaystates laugh in his face and don't shoot nobody just enjoy yourself mate. that's what your there for. hft was a real eye opener for me the first time, in regards to pellet trajectory. especially with elevated shots. and the 8-12 yarders.. never shot anything so close to my feet before! -
"daz7 likes a post you made in 5 for the hw97k" -- knew it wouldn't be long 9/10 getting there.. think ive figured it out mate.. the key to success lies in how you stank the rifle.. near enough vertical gave a good pose, but when I had it on more of an incline the squirrel kept laying down shooting the cnut is only half the battle, posing it requires skill and patience..! the force is getting stronger in this one

Davy, my hw100kt has auto aim mate! its so well balanced that the cross barely moves at all for 40 yard standing shots. ok so it doesn't really have auto aim,. that was a bit of a joke I have started on here after going hunting with my hw100kt I hardly miss with it and if I do its for very silly reasons! obviously Mark Williams likes reading my hunting threads and knows my sense of humour. I mean really, how the feck can a rifle have auto aim.?! it cant.. but the hw100kt is the closest rifle to having this unavailable feature,. hope this clears that up for you mate. -
I like a thumbhole, and I think its better to handle in a wood thumbhole stock. makes accuracy pretty easy! the synthetic isn't as good imo.. makes the gun feel cheap, like a toy? and the vibration from the action firing is amplified through the stock so sounds shit aswell the sporter stock is very nice aswell feels 'right' haven't had a laminte one yet, but that's the same as the beech sporter if im not wrong

I went out last night and only saw 1 rabbit about yards away then it was straight off!!!

oh almost forgot to add, the first kill should have been a crow. when I was plinking after zeroing and calibrating to 40yds this crow landed on the branch of the tree abouve the 40yd target. so I put the rest of my biscuit I was eating in my mouth and raised the gun to aim, lined up with the bottom of the thin cross on the top of its head and squeezed the shot off, this gun doesn't recoil bad and I could see through the scope whilst following through the black bastarrd ducked its head as the pellet was going to smash into it, then flew off 2 seconds later. cheeky cnut!!!

Killing machine..> how many kills have you had with that gun now..? mt hw97k just got 5 and could have had loads more on its first session! -
all us perfectionists just want THE BEST out of our kit. get a hw97k and shoot it . it will still be a great rifle unturned but the tune just smooths it out really making it easier to shoot. I have just been out with my un-tuned hw97k and its brilliant. I have relubed it, but it didn't NEED doing and it still shot fine before I stripped it.

Fcukin bollocks! apparently research showed 1 in 3 shooters to be left handed! I bet they sell loads of left hand special tx and s410s ... at extra fcukin cost aswel...!!!
-
Cheers Aaron mate, haven't tried any other pellets yet and still will be bedding in after the stripdown and relube. should get a lot better than that. Mac, don't rush it mate if your not feeling up to it. cant you just sit in the car and shoot out the window..?? take it easy mate. if I would have stayed longer I bet I could have got 50 pigeons in a few hours. the last 3 all came within 5 mins, and I scared loads off with the sound of the gun, and I was rustling the leaves as I was walking. if I had the hw100kt and was in a hide It would have been even more! but 4 is plenty, alread

calibrating scope. slight breeze going right to left for the 34 yard groups pretty happy with the rifles performance after a sptip and relube its spot on cant fault it. hw97 is definitely my favourite rifle.. this is my 5th one!!

Just Bought A Hw80K
Skot Ruthless Teale replied to Room with a view's topic in General Airgun Discussion
probably a 16 mm barrel swivel on the not sure tho, never had one myself as for the scope mate, I don't know, it was mounted on the used 97k I bought last night. its in the shooting supplies box right now tho. I might put the hawke sport from the 77 onto the 97 and then either iron sights or the hawke airmax on the hw77. or sell the airmax, but not sure yet, want to try it out first seems a nice little scope. as for the Sandwell tune, you would be best ringing and asking about the work they do and prices over the phone, --------------------------- what did you end up gett -

IF I get a 5th rifle it will either be a .177 pcp for night time hunting to be mainly used if I get nightvision aswell (and more money saved up, and a permission that I would need it for) or a .20 or .25 springer, as I have never had these calibres. or a walnut tx200 left hander actually this list of different things I haven't had/would want could go on forever hahaha!
