    the sporter stock is about the same price as the synthetic.. I have had all 3 versions and they are all nice not much between them. I generally prefer the thumbhole wood stock but I can shoot my beech sporter version just as well so try a sporter if you can, or save up longer for the beech thumbhole

    My old supersports and lightnings did me fine with cheap little 3-9x40's in my younger days before i got a hw99, then hw97 Always swore by 1 piece moints tho. Good luck with the new mounts keep us updated pal

    my hw100 with panorama 4-12x50 10x 1/2 mildot is zeroed at 27 yards at 11.2 ftlb and It never lets me down. then scope is brilliant and well worth the money imo. wouldn't mind upgrading to a sidewinder but at almost double the price (model depending) its a bit of an investment for a poorper like me lol

    You don't know what your talking about from what I can gather on here- bsa springers are shit (although I had 3 supersports and 2 lightnings and they were all 'ok'. not as good as my hw springer. and bsa pcp's seem to be bang on. I have only ever fired 2 ultras , but they were both bang on, as was a mates scorpion I fired. as for the rapid I have only shot one and again, that was sweet! fired a few hw100's and they are just the daddy, hence why I bought one/. the AA s410 was nice but the hw100 smashes it in every category#! this is of course just my opinion, and I would say t

    all this legal limit shit does my head in. its so easy to go over ! :/ pellet weight, new guns 'bedding in' and 'creeping up' temperature etc. if I bought a new gun and it was over and I got fuuucked for having a firearm without a license I wouldn't be best pleased!

    my old 97 shot better with the hw seal rather than the vmach seal! probably because that seal was already 'bedded in' or 'sized'

    the hatstand will (just about) do the job, at very close range, if your a good shot and practice a lot,and use good pellets . but the b2 wont mate

    For hunting. ANy of them lol I use a hawke sport hd ao 3-9x50 with 30/30 cross on my 97 and dont miss many. Use a panorama ev ao ir 4-12x50 on my hw100 and thats brilliant aswel!

    cant fault my hw100 t .22 mate. stick to what you know lol. full length you get more shots. and .22 you get more shots. are you hiding in bushes a lot and shooting from the car.? if so get carbine, esier to move about with in tight spaces.

    just been having a look on parcelforce website. if I understood it right it said you have to use the 48hr service to send air rifles.? ah well. its a lot of messing about isn't it!

    new toy sounds nice mate! just out of interest, how much did it cost to send a rifle by pacelforce,? and how do you go about getting it to them, do they pick it up? do they offer like tracking services etc to make sure you know as a seller when your item has arrived at the buyers.? and did you tell them its an air rifle? do they do like parcel insurance etc.? sorry for the dumb questions, but I might need to post a rifle soon lol,

    I had a s410k .22 excellent hunting rifle. bolt action was pretty discreet and hardly any movement and you could carry it around all day.

    my hw100kt is fine as it is, no need for aftermarket cylinders and silencers lol. its quiet enough well balanced enough and deadly enough as it is. already spent a small fortune on it- don't need to be spending any more LOL people rate them twink mk2's tho

    you mean the walnut tx in my local.? it was a while ago now, but they had 4 or 5 on the rack all lined up next to eachother, and this one definitely stood out from the crowd it was beautiful! they could have sold it/ all of them by now mate I haven't been in for a while. give them a ring or bob in, your not too far down the road, from Kirklees guns, in Huddersfield. suppose your local would be redbeck .? hear lots of good things about them

    Darker is better I recon. or buy a mk3 walnut stock with the fish scales .. ooosh seen one in my local gunshop and fell in love with it amazing grain on it, shame it was a right hooker- I shoot lefty
