  6. thanks everyone, got these 2 jills last year from a rescue home and are excellent workers so dont want to part with them, ive got another 4 ferrets, one thats 7 and still an excellent worker with no problems,1 that doesnt work at all and 2 last years which i just started last week and are off to a good start going to try the tube trick in summer i think and leave them for the rest of this season

Jill ferrets finished working a warren and refusing to come out, they come to the burrow entrance and then when you go to pick them up they back in. getting really frustrating and having to use a rabbit to get them out. Wasting too much time on a days ferreting just trying to get them out the warren, any ideas how to sort it? Thanks in advance

  9. They don't rooks and crow's are different birds, they do ...............as above....Morning on the crows if you look there are jackdaws in the picture so you cant say rooks, and ive already had this discussion with you about crows and rooks mate
  10. woops, i meant crows just depends, shooting a lot of cows just now on silage with the shotgun and do rabbit work with the airgun and ferrets!   12. Im 15 and have most of the shooting up and down my valley, if you start with one farmer and do a good job it doesn't take long for the word to spread! Just ask politely and make sure you tell him your bags and ask when you can go!

  16. im 100% sure they are carrions they where bigger than the old rooks i shot, so don't see how they can be young rooks?
