Good question... hardware has a lifespan, as software adds more functionality, it takes more processor power and memory to run it, ie 3 years ago with Windows 7 Pro and 4GB of ram, Pc's ran well, the Pc's now with Windows 10 that i supply have top end i5/Amd 8 core processors and a min of 8GB of RAM, and 128GB solid state hard drives.
Walshie's laptop was a well specced machine with 6gb of ram
