  1. Good luck mate. I have a jill that was a rescue ferret. I had to convince the rescue centre to let me have her as they said she was completly un-rehomeable. She is still a complete nutter but is hand tame to those that are confident with her; if you show fear she will not leave you alone! When we first had her she broke a tooth trying to chew her way out of her run...in anycase she is a changed ferret and an excellent worker.
  2. Permissions wanted for weekend work with ferrets, mainly to purse and longnets. Very keen and will travel within the South West within reason.
  3. Hi all, I am based in Plymouth, Devon and I am new to ferreting. On the advice of a friend who used to ferret years ago, I have taken on a young Jill from a rescue centre with the intention of working her. I have permissions for one Dartmoor location that looks like it could be productive and have tried the weasel out once on a few small warrens. She seems keen and systematic in her approach to it so being that she was a stray, I wouldn't be suprised if she has done this before! I know it is coming towards the end of the season but I was wondering if there was anybody based in the sout
