  1. Keep your eye on youtube and other forums for lads in Nottingham posting about their fantastic nights out lamping...... Sorry to hear that Barnze, I don't know about you, but in the past I had a system of texting the landowner the times I'd be wandering. Helped me out a lot when a horse slipped a foal due to a helicopter flying low, her first thought was I was to blame... Not a fail safe solution, but I feel it would certainly be a step in the right direction to prevent this occurring again to you. Good luck fella.
  2. Super post! Thanks for sharing and looking forward to more.
  3. Some great responses too chaps.
  4. Excellent post. I couldn't agree more either, its a sad and unpleasant aspect, but what counts is how you deal with it. Bravo eat4peace.
  5. Delicious! Won't find that lot in the chillers of Tesco!
  6. If the rabbit runs, it pays to shine the spot between the rabbit and the shelter, I've had it stop them just long enough to get the shot off. Lamp shy rabbits may require just a change to/of filter, or even to nightvision and infra red.
  7. Cheers Darryl, well worth the effort in my view, superb little guns. The karbine is my favourite only as it is just that bit more versatile.
  8. She is a real masterpiece! Stay tuned my good man as we'll get up close and personal in the next vid (which will be better quality I promise as i wont be reliant on mobile internet).
  9. As featured; We have a seemingly rare and highly sought after original 1970's HW35k .22 with 'early' stock (slightly higher indentation with ridge stippling) including sling swivels and complete with iron sights. Has dinks as can be expected but I would describe it as being in fair to good condition overall. Shoots beautifully and cocks smoothly. Priced to sell at £115.00 Based in Stroud, Gloucestershire, Buyers are invited to view prior to purchasing. Should posting be required, a hard case will be purchased, and expense added t
  10. As featured; HW35 .22 from the 1980's I'm told. A solid work horse, this cocks and fires accurately and smoothly as can be seen and heard. I can only give her 'fair' to 'good' condition as she seems to have had a rougher life with dinks and scrapes and similar light damage (not all immediately apparent) to stock and to the barrel. Owing to this, and lacking iron sights, she is priced keenly at £85.00 gun only. Based in Stroud, Gloucestershire, Buyers are invited to view prior to purchasing. Should posting be required, a hard case will be purchas
  11. We all enjoy shooting, that's a given, but I must say going back to irons really put a smile on my face. Sure, the foresight obliterated the target, but I did get pretty good at judging it again and soon had those spinners going. Lots of fun! Cheers for the comments chaps, will hopefully get some more videos up soon.
  12. I read in one of the comics about an old boy game keeper who kept a Diana 280 in his truck with iron sights on. He was blatting squizzers no problem with it!
  13. Cheers Bossmugler, I can see why! Phenomenal little rifles, beautiful to look at, smooth cocking action, lovely lock up and accurate (in competent hands!).
  14. After procuring a pair of excellent HW35's, I was curious to return to shooting with irons and see how the groups compared to shooting with the aid of telescopic sights. Just a fun 'shoot n see' video for the pleasure of all you fellow airgun addicts! This video is due to be released on a new YouTube Channel 'AirgunAddicts' alongside a new blog www.airgunaddicts.blogspot.co.uk. All guns featured are available to purchase, please contact me via PM. Enjoy Chaps! Miles
  15. I really truly sincerely hope and pray to that airgun god in the sky you are right fry. I want to love the prosport so much, I've longed for one ever since i was aware of their existance and I'd especially like a shiny new one that's all mine.
  16. So essentially, at present what we have is an expensive wall piece with bags of potential to be a rifle...
  17. I can't speak for Si, but I bought one secondhand that was six years old. No problems with mine. Bought it as it was a good deal, but even £250 proved too much of an indulgence and she had to go to fund family stuff. I'm gutted to hear not only of Mawders' woes but that his is not an isolated exception. I strongly believe air arms need to read this and BUCK UP!
  18. You just don't give yourself enough credit Mawders! You'd never admit it I know, but I am certain all will agree; What a superb account! Witty, informative complimented by lovely photo's that really help get them juices flowing. Thank you for sharing mate. Your biggest fan- milegajo.
  19. I have some spare paraffin you can have Davy, an unopened half gallon one and a quarter to half bottle. Not any use to a man who no longer needs paraffin lamps, you're welcome to it, t'ent cheap no more!
  20. Oh and thirty five yards is generally ok for .177 but downloading chairgun will help in deciding your optimum zero range.
  21. You've done the right thing in my view. Starting with aa fields, which look deadly, then experimenting. Again, you're right in moving back to confirm and clarify. Good job so far, good luck and happy hunting!
  22. No disrespect to the effort, but i treated it with the same bemusement as the other wacky stuff posted on the 364 other days of each year... So yup, i was taken in, as for being a fool or not, well thats another thread. Irrespective of the date or whether passed midday!
  23. Ah the fact it was past 12 snared me... Still think it'd be fun even if foolish hehe.
  24. I second the op with the ease you can strip them down. If there is an issue, you can sort it straight away rather than making excuses/fatal errors. No drift pins, no sharp edges, no tiny springs to leap off to be lost into the ether. A truly superb creation that balances looks with performance and practicality.
