  1. Thanks a lot, you've also captured exactly what i wanted to convey.
  2. Hawke Panorama, failing that one of the Sport HD range.
  3. Taken from the blog AirgunAddicts Though I feared the land was, like Narnia, in the grip of winter forever, finally Spring has burst forth and too long I have delayed in reaping the fruits of this season of life and beginning. First order of the day was to ensure the rifle and scope were zeroed. Having previously ascertained JSB Exacts to be the best performing pellet it was time to explore the guns other demands. Namely hold. Generally a springer must not be held too tight, it must be supported to allow it to recoil naturally. Due to the harsher recoil of the calibre, combined with this gun
  4. What a stonkingly good gun! Very jealous here!
  5. Try rws supermags 9.4gr in .177. No guarantee your barrel will like them but its a heavier wadcutter.
  6. I mention the Raider 10xs only because the breech markings are very similar...which is what threw me into believing the valuemax was turkish.
  7. Thanks mole. If thats the case, I'd guess the Raider pcp is Chinese too. What you say also makes sense as I believe Edgar Brothers are the sole importers/distributors for Hatsan in the UK. Boy those chinese have upped their game!
  8. If it is that'll help your sale. So would a guideline price...
  9. Looks to me to be a MK3 action in a Mark 2 stock. Early 'transition' mark 3 tx200?
  10. Thanks Matt, Hmmm, I suppose he could be right, best for pest control (close range blatting) certainly not best for hunting in my view. BUT I'm also not going to want to spend £300-£400 for each of my blokes on an AA or Weihrauch. Nor am I only going to spend just £40 on a glorified cricket bat! So yeah, I can see what he means. I do hope mine rises a touch, but not THAT much!
  11. Taken from the blog AirgunAddicts, I have to admit, I've grown just a smidgeon bored of Weihrauchs. They are superb; they're German, so they are tools for a job and they fulfill their role very well indeed. As most German things do. They're darn efficient! But they are very popular. So popular there are no surprises, few challenges that have not already been undertaken, scant opportunity to learn or tread a path that is not already very well trodden. I fancied a change, and the marketplace is bulging with offerings and temptations. No, I couldn't really afford the indulgence, but you try
  12. A 97 + 100 has to be a dreamteam combo in my view. That's some incredible springer shooting too i must say. Regardless of 'flyers'. Top notch!
  13. No intention of hijacking, rather urging caution against stating opinion as fact and potentially misleading buyers. No insult was intended, though you appear to have taken offense.
  14. A slightly flawed challenge, if you look on sportsmk.co.uk, you'll see that the Beeman Carnivore is, as you put it a "shitty smk". I think you took my comment the wrong way, but that's ok. As for alternatives, the later more common .22 Hw35 is one, Hatsan MOD 60/55s Brand new, numerous BSA's... Hence my comment "easy tiger" as such claims as yours can bite you in the ass in my experience. Good luck with the sale. Rebadged SMK'S aren't always the easiest to shift. Thanks for the plug too!
  15. Weihrauch HW35 .177 (Unusual calibre for era!) circa 1976, the less common single sided safety (prior to the modern two sided one with the red pin). serial number 646527 cocks and shoots smoothly at 11.4 ft/lbs with RWS Hobbys bluing and action in good condition, original Iron Sights, stock has marks hence only - £145 MK2 BSA Meteor .22 1960's TA29940 some marks to metal and wood but in original condition - £50 MK4 BSA Meteor .22 TG9835 Metal work in good condition, wood
  16. I hear most farmers go into hibernation from the 28th November - 23rd February. Careful though, cuz its rutting season at the moment!
  17. £25 - a bit stained inside worn come rain or shine
