    That's how I understood the effect. Funny, my scope on my rifle seemed true, handed it to Mawders he says "Scope's canted over to the right" WTF! I pick up his rifle "Mate, scope's canted over to the left". The bugger is, now he's said it, I can see it.....mind you, I did set it up by resting it on a horizontal surface and lining the reticule up with the vertical lines of a breeze block wall. Not perhaps the most scientific method.

    Say what you like about R10's... I think they are sexy! Couldn't care if it lobbed pellets sideways. I'd buy a HW100 to kill the pest, then lay the R10 down for the trophy picture!

    I'd like to say "Because I don't have the time". The truth is, (how to put this politely?) I 'lack the motivation'. I don't feel my effort would reap a good return. I don't fit in here. I never will, nor do I intend to. As soon as circumstances allow, it's back to the woods for me. (Where I'll have a darned hard time getting within 30 yards of a pigeon again!)

    Same crossed my mind, figured I best start drinking, smash the wife about, deal drugs, play loud music at stupid o'clock and have the police dragged out on a nightly basis. THEN I'd be safe as they seem to be able to do bugger all in those cases!

    As I was shovelling shite this morning, a very weasely fellow sidled up behind me. When I noted his presence, his "Mr Miles?" brought my guard up instantly. Rightly too. He was a sniffer dog sent out by 'Tenant Services'. It appears that zeroing your rifle in your own back yard into a steel funnel pellet trap affixed securely to a concrete wall is deemed 'Unusual activity' for which ordinarily one must beg and submit for permission to engage in.
