    What a good morning it is got to the holes where we had lost my Jill armed with my 3 little boys and the mrs we took bowls to bang around the area I left them there and walked up the hedge with the whippet I walked the full length of the hedge calling and banging about but no sign as we are on our way back I saw the very distinctive white in the distance so I ran over to her picked her up 3 very happy boys to say the least checked collar and no trace good job she was on top otherwise we would've had no chance locating her cheers for everyone's comments

    There's been a lot of rain could she be in water below ground? That's the only thing I could think of why I couldn't pick a trace up?

    Yes mate mark 1 checked the collar when it was on her and with red tape it is it worth going back tonight with the lamp or should I go back first light in the morning? I put the rabbit livers around where she was so if she's there and alive she will stay

    No mate the warrens we were ferreting were out in the open probably 25 netter put 2 ferrets in this years polecat and a albino had four bolt polecat surfaced and the white Jill stayed down looked and looked for a trace but nothing was nearly dark she was just coming on well really pissed me off after a good day

    We were ferreting today and lost one of my Jill's. we had no trace on the finder we were banging the ground and calling her but after over 3 hours still no sign. We gutted all the rabbits nearby the holes we ferreted still nothing. My deben is a 15ft box and got nothing? Came home to 3 very upset little boys going back in the morning so fingers crossed. any advice would be brilliant cheers!

    Any advice on starting a dog on reds would be much appreciated as when we're lamping bunnys she seems more than interested . Do i slip her and hope for the best? She's 3 years old and stands 25" tts.Doubling her up is not a option as my bitch pup is only 6 months and hasn't done anything yet Cheers!
