For me that is simple, if everyone agreed on what makes the perfect Lurcher there would only ever be one type. Personally I love the Beddy X but, there are so many Whippet X that will make a perfect Mooching partner for me, why stick with one type?

Hi to all, I've just joined because AndyP started a thread for me in the Lurcher section about wanting a Lakeland X Whippet. It occured to me that this was a little rude, so i thought I should join and ask my own questions. Thanks anyway Andy Right I'm errr well lets leave it at over 50 shall we. I have covered just about the whole field sport thing throughout my life and have been catching Rabbits since I was about 7. Anyway it's good to find like minded people and I look forward to chatting to you all.

Hi guys, Andy very kindly started this thread for me before I joined the forum. It was a picture of his dog that inspired me to want another dog after I lost my mooching partner 2 years ago. I keep my dogs for life and am now keen to 'get back in the saddle'. So if anyone decides to breed a litter of these dogs, please, please contact me. Thanks Mark
