  5. i asked a the question what would be a good rifle for a 9yr old some time ago on here because like you i wanted to make a start with my lad shooting ... a few people said the ultra but at the time i thought it was abit much for a starting gun but looking at the pics of your lad i think they was right... would also make a great hide gun for me also

  7. Mate before Davy turned up I had a go with Malc's custom Hornet that we set up with OGives. At 25 metres it was 1 hole and i mean 1 hole pellet diameter size groups. At a further distance of 40 metres Malc tells me that the group hardly opens up any bigger. We then went and shot a 61 metre small metal bell on top of a wooded post in a field when Davy arrived from the standing un supported position. Malc took it first shot with the Hornet and OGives buddy, so they must be good in some rifles. I hit it 4 times on the trot with the SFS tuned .22 HW97KT from the same standing u

  11. Mike, you are correct about them retaining the heat for hours But who's going to wait for hours after school/college in order to bung in a piece of wood? Even at 100'C (complicated bit here) the wood, would not survive as the heat would steam the wood and feck it up big time To dry wood correctly in a kiln, takes days or weeks (depending on type of wood) at a constant heat in order to minimise drying time Tony yup theres no quick way or it just becomes unstable im a cabinet maker and use kiln dried wood alot and its shite nothing beats plain old seasoning when it comes to dr

  15. i know from rhodes 2 week ago it was 3100 fags pp. or 3kg of baccy.. in portugal a couple of months ago i was paying 5 euro for 50g of amber leaf but it was 4.30 euro for 25g from rhodes fags was 38 euro for 200.... ive been packed up a couple of months now but bought loads back for family and freinds

  18. back to the original post and the point about crows harassing people ive experienced this myself at school when i was a kid we used to have crow that would swoop and chase us it was actuly quite scary ive heard other examples of this behaviour also from freinds.... now just to throw the the crow among the pigeons i feel like the corvids get a hard deal with all the egg theiving blah blah blah its just what they do like sharks eat little fish lions eat baby zebra ect ect its not down to us to play god and decide whats right and wrong i also think that the magpie and jay and the jakdaw are som
