River smite or Devon or Witham perhaps? it was the perch that got me I loved spinning for specimen perch when I was a lad.. A passion I wouldn't mind reigniting..the trout is beautiful you did right putting it back don't think it would taste great...when we were kids we borrowed quite a few rainbow from a local fishery and put them in the Devon but never managed to rematch any of them.

Not every SE Asian country eats dog.Pretty sure they don't in Malasia. dogs were just a example ....3 years for a bit of youthful exuberance it's madness...did they urinate on the mountain? I know it's of topic but should we really be respecting these countries traditions and ways when it comes to things like animal welfare and human rights ect.? How do you respect seeing a dozen dogs rammed into a meter square cage then sent for slaughter skinned alive just because it's there way? Nothing against them eating dog meat is meat but treat them with some humanity ffs...so I take back what I said in my original post I'm not all for respecting other countries values and traditions... a lot of bad shit happens behind this word respect.

Im all for respecting other countries culture but this is just plain daft. .blaming her for causing a earthquake and putting her in nick is a bit OTT by any backwards nations standard... could have been worse I guess ...she's lucky it wasn't north Korea!
