  5. Good going stu nice to see you back in action with the rapid ...as for what elliott says ive seen this a few times with nv rabbits ducking... maybe they have been shot at before or just pure instinct passed down I dont know ? Atb Kanny

  8. Nice shooting bud rapids are bag fillers for sure ....I love mine no fancy gizmos just good old british engineering at its best. Atb Kanny
  9. I don't know about the r10 but you normaly have to discharge the air left in the rifle to close the bottle valve on other rifle models its normally something like 3 turns of you bottle then a few dry fires until empty .... im sure one of the r10 boys will be along soon to put you right you should be able to download a pdf operating manual for the gun from bsa if you don't have one atb kanny
  10. just copy and paste the photobucket IMG link on to here. atb kanny
  11. there not saying that pigeons cant be shot period but under the general licence you have to have reason to do so ie crop protection or fouling animal feeders ect so its arguable that there's no reason to shoot a pigeon in the average garden. atb kanny
  12. they really make my piss boil sometimes more blanket statements without the full facts . there only a charity who wears uniforms ffs ....they do some good work in cruelty cases but that's where there work should end... they have not right to tar responsible air gunners with a few idot chavs that take pot shots at cats .. me personally I don't shoot anything in my garden other than target but that said nothing is being a problem and I enjoy there presence ..... tossers! kanny
  13. nice going with the rats ... the rapid looks sweet with that laminate stock where's it from if you don't mind me asking? atb kanny
  14. I get the lesser spotted woodpeckers in my garden and my permission a quarter of a mile down the road has a pair of breading green woodpeckers ....there fantastic birds to watch and they don't half give you a rollicking if you get to close to there nest tree. atb kanny
  15. i use a light weight jack pyke one for woodys .....it bugs the crap out of me i think anything would but they do work. atb kanny
  16. not sure if it would work on your rifle but have you tried a couple of arrestor blocks? another suggestion would be to mod your mounts so there thinner to catch the groove better..... its what we did back in the day when we had scope problems on the old springers..... I think the only main stream air rifle scope back then was a 4x20 these had a one piece thin steel mount if I remember correctly to fit the shallow grooves. atb kanny
  17. that new rapids going to come in handy then a lot less fuss reloading not that the Diana isn't doing the job...... wish I could get a perm like that lucky boy!.... nice shooting mate. atb kanny
  18. nice 1......I look forward to your video's and seeing the wolverine in action.... 100ft/lb .303 that's going to kick sum ass for sure kanny
  19. that's some fine shooting bud that rabbit looks massive in front of that fox or is the fox just small I cant work it out ..... well done anyway your a lucky guy to have permission like that. kanny
  20. when you say older one Kanny is that because the general consensus is that the build quality was better back in the day or because i'll get the same gun but cheaper, purely because its older? when you say older? what kind of age from and too, in terms of years? cheers something from the golden age of hw's late 80s early 90s I would say.. yes I feel the build and material quality was much better and I just like the feel of older things (no puns lads) the way there worn in but not worn out the way the wood feels from years of use.. smoothed out in all the right places I just find olde
  21. its each to there own when it comes to guns and what suits you.... now if I was looking for a springer then I would be looking for a older but clean hw77k and the money I saved on second hand I would put down on a nice service for it ... just my 2 bobs worth. atb kanny
  22. its a hard thing to say especially when peoples livelihoods are on the line but I really think its time the seas were given a break its not just Whitby its a world wide trend from what I can see. the industrial trawlers and modern tech are just to much for the seas to recover from . its never going to happen mind to much money involved.... I think were all feckt. kanny
  23. full length super10 my old one was like a tank gun kanny
