  2. have you tried releasing the shot when your still drawing the bands back , try this . hold the catty on target and draw back just a few inches and release while still drawing back. then just increase the draw length by a few inches each time until you get near your anchor point.
  3. nice mate a lot better than my first attempt
  4. you got it spot on mate, i can shoot with the catty sideways ttf and over the top but soon as i hold the catty 45 deg or upright i cant hit jack shit, even at 5 yards a barn door is safe.

  6. if its forking good catapults i think youcanthide has bought from him.
  7. going to stick my neck out here but i dont think the ammo actualy passes between the forks,it goes over the top as with all catys, lets see what others have to say but im thinking im bang on the money thats what i said.. but your wrong about all cattys being ott as i shoot ttf ( ammo goes between the forks)
  8. all pickle fork cattys are over the top as there is no gap for the ammo to go through, you can hold it sideways or up wright what ever feels best
  9. original pf and the style i think he uses without the holes.
  10. some of the zinc ones are strong enough but youle not know until it snaps are not. wouldnt chance it myself.
  11. prob be best just to making one from a natural as most of those are just cheap zinc at that price , the one iv got of ebay i tried in a vice for strenth ..the top piece bent slightly then just sheared off and the bottom piece came off with no bending . so if your using looped 1745 or double theraband gold its got a good chance to come back and smack you in the face . (soon as the metal is fatigued)

  16. once you get used to them you realize most thumb and finger brace catties are quite uncomfortable
  17. if your only getting 200 shots it could be.. 1. ammo too light for bands(this kills the bands quick) 2.rotary cutter aint sharp 3.maxing out the bands every shot 4.more than a 2 to 1 taper but you should be getting more than 200 shots easy
  18. you can get brass one for £36.50 direct from milbro / £34.50 for aluminium http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MILBRO-PROSHOT-UK-Running-Lurcher-CATAPULT-BRASS-/280676673709?pt=UK_SportingGoods_Hunting_ShootingSports_ET&hash=item4159a228ad

  20. it could be that your holding the pouch slightly different . are you gripping the ammo or fingers in front of the ammo then you shoot? if you grip the ammo you get a much cleaner release or it could be that your slightly tilting your head left /right causing different poi
