  1. think i know whats wrong, farmer tells me he has sprayed a rabbit repelant on this field a week before i set snares diden know there was such a thing lasts 12 weeks,its like pulling teeth trying to get info from a farmer,other side of ditch where rabbits are he doesent own.pitey i haden this fourm 30 years ago on rabbit snaring i was taught the wong way too keep up the good work redhob
  2. the most unluckiest rabbit in Ireland got caught in one of the hoop snares this morning,if things are the same in morning up they come, il let yous know.
  3. mick ud need a jcb,theve 20 arces ate to the stones,they must just pick there nights for eating barley,but it hasent been the last two
  4. hi any tips on snaring winter barley,pads run along the ditch about 18ins wide none seem to go out into field that i can make out.the pats along the ditches are so close to one an other most have dropings on them my snares are not even disturbed,grass fields other side of ditch on 21/2 sides.cant shoot at night to many houses,cant ferret ditches,thick brambles.what would the experts do,im ready for running.redhob

Hi all, first post, i am looking for another way to catch rabbits in thick hedges, purse nets are a none starter, double fences etc i used to be able to shoot the rabbits but times have changed where i supply dont want shot gun rabbits no more. i have never long netted before, on reading posts on long netting or stop nets in my case i think,what is the differance between a traditional and trammel stop net,what is the quickest to set and lift,better catcher.i have read posts from netrigger and tiercel, experts and craftsmen in this field, as i am sure there are many more on here.any advice ple
