    Sounds like she is not properly digesting all the nutrients in the beta food,that is why she is eating her stools.I would change her food to a different make.With a lower protein content.This might do the trick.

    All bitches are different.I usually wait till the bitch's colour goes from red to pale pink.Also the bitches vulva will soften just above the lips.It looks like a small button.Best to look at her at about 8-9 days and keep checking daily thereafter. I find this combination to work well for me
