    if a dog isnt treated right it will not work to there full potential for you fact. my dog will be fed on the best and will be treat like a hero as says above. however if my dog got retired early he would be infront of the fire sort of speak. and would live his days lazing about with a few walks a week to get rid of some energy

    Yeah av seen some older dogs run and you can see where experiance comes in handy compared to the youngsters

    I agree. I have a saluki x pup 10 month old not the most experianced dog but he hunts up and flushes rabbits phesants etc from cover ansd is able to catch the flushed game to. He is also a handy dog for ferreting and works the lamp with ease and if out shooting with thr catty or air rifles will find and retrive the game shot. A use my saluki x for alsorts hes a joy to own and work along side. Afriend of mine has a saluki x aswell and he rates them of high standard to as they have good noeses on them and endless stamina and will have a go at anything asked of them

    Round my area there are not many rabbits to start with but they seem to be chucking out young so just gunna lay off with the lamping and just go out mooching with the catty and let me pup flush stuff from the hedge rows etc which he is getting realy good at and uses his nose alot better.
